2013 in review

It’s that time of year again! The WordPress.com stats “helper monkeys” prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog. And here it is!

Thank you, everyone, whether you lurk or comment. You make it fun for me!

Here’s an excerpt:

The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 690,000 times in 2013. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 30 days for that many people to see it.

Oh dear. To be #1 on the list of commenters is perhaps a dubious honor . . . I am rather logorrheaic . . . but I love everyone who also comments, and also of course Kim and the Guy, and I hope for an excellent year ahead for all of us ❤

Hi Ms. Kim-I forgot to say that my amaryllis is now putting out beautiful red blossims, and has grown a foot since I got it. My homemaker was in yesterday, and complimented me on it. I explained that it was all the moral purity around here. She hurt herself laughing.

Happy New Year, Kim! Thanks so much for sharing this amazing blog with us. I’ve learned so much about you and the writing process from your posts.

    See you in March!

Well, I’m stunned again. I tried to cut back, I really did. But here I am at #5, with 88 comments, although that is less, (by almost half) from the previous year. And I dropped two places, down from third. I pick up a Kim Harrison novel, I can’t put it down; I visit the Kim Harrison blog, and I can’t shut up.

  10. It’s so nice to know that you are loved by so many people! Happy New Year to everyone!

  11. Wow! And I was excited when I found out two people were following my meager blog! This is great! Have a wonderful 2014!

I’m number 3…and number 4? How did I do that?

It was a pretty good year.

      Hi Vampy,
My guess is that you commented with 2 different devices, ie. computer and phone, and the website read it as 2 different commenters.

    • II have used my computer, phone kindle fire and even my kindle to post. I don’t use the little kindle often, It’s the hardest to use for posting.
