Dogs or Cats–New Hollows ARC give-away

***** UPDATE 4/20/21 ***** We have a winner for the second of ten ARC giveaways. Daphne K. was lucky number 702 out of over 1000 entries, and she has already e-mailed me back to claim her ARC and freebie! Come back Friday for a new question to answer to enter the next giveaway! Congratulations, Daphne! And thank you everyone who played along.

It’s week two of the Great Hollows ARC give away! One at-random reader will be chosen from all entries to receive a sighed, bound manuscript galley of Million Dollar Demon. Here’s how to enter this week.

Using an email you have access to for the next five days
, email Tim at <coldtoastwritingsllc@comcast.net>

Put “Dogs vs Cats” in the subject line so we know you’re entering the contest. In the email, tell me if dogs rule or drool, or if cats are tops or trash. Share pictures of your furry family here or at FB or twitter for bonus points–which get you nothing except the chance to brag, but I like to see ’em.

One entry per household please.

I will cut off entries at midnight, PST on Monday, April 19. I will announce the winner that Tuesday morning, AND email them for the address they want me to mail the bound manuscript ARC to as well as find out if and how they want me to sign it.  Winners will have until the coming Thursday midnight to get back to me to claim the ARC and tell me their mailing address. If I don’t hear from you by Thursday midnight, the ARC goes back in the pool and I will give away two ARCs next week.

Out of the U.S? You can still enter! ARCs have no cash value, though they may get held up in customs forever. Books will go out UPS or USPS, whatever is faster. Chance of winning depends upon how many enter. Winners will be chosen by a random number generator, and I can’t be responsible for mail that goes astray.

That’s it. But do come back next Friday to enter again with a new question. I’ve got a bunch of these to give away until release day on June 15th! To clarify, these are bound manuscript ARCS, not the soft-cover, book-like ARCS we are used to. As far as I know, there will only be ten of these in existence. End of story. Boom!

Good luck!

If you want to skip the chaos and pre-order a real, signed copy, they are only available at Nicolas this year. Just follow the link. Nicolas — Kim’s local store

Psst! Freebies are now in and going out to readers! I will put one into every signed book that goes through Nicola’s until I’m out, but you can send me a SASE to get one right now! How to send me a SASE to get your “ticket” for Cincy’s Sky Star.

I have had both and became highly allergic to cats. I now have only 3 Shihtzus after recently loosing our first after 17 1/12 years. They are all allowed to sleep in our bed and travel with them when we can.

  7. Heather Kongira

Cats rule because they just DON’T CARE what anyone thinks.

  8. Tim Powers

I say CATS. our dog has gotten us up at 4am the past few days, the bugger.

We have both, but I’m definitely more of a dog person. Cats don’t respect boundaries, if they want to cuddle, they don’t really care what you want/are doing. Dogs take rejection in stride and love you all the more when you invite them back.

Dogs are my favorite but I like cats too.

  11. Cats are where it’s at! I work at an animal shelter in rural Missouri. I’m in the office full time now, but used to be the head of the feline department and my co-workers call me “Meowmy”. My fiance and I foster special needs kitties along with having 8 permanent feline children — one is paralyzed in the back end, one is partially blind and one has severe anxiety issues. Our “grandson” also lives with us, who came into the shelter with a broken pelvis, most likely from being hit by a car. One of the greatest feelings in the word is finding the right humans for the right cat (or dog) and sending them to their forever family.

It’s really kind of hard to say if it’s dog the cats that pull we have two dogs one father & son Who are Austin and have great personalities and we also have two long haired orange cat one older and the other giant kitten not yet a year old and they have awesome personality but if I really had to choose who rules in our house I probably have to say the bird ! our Feathered Friend tends to scare all the other animals and she bosses everybody around on a daily basis! LOL

Cats rule! No doubt. They get their food, water and clean litter box and toys. They good to go.
Dogs need food, water, snd a human to take them outside a dozen times a day. And then they think they are cat sized and sit on you.
Love ‘em both though. My pack of kitties and puppers give me unconditional love every day.
