Quiet doesn’t mean nothing’s going on

Hi all.

I’ve been shunning my social obligations lately because, well, how many pictures of birds and plants can you take? But I’ve been busy. Very busy–keeping my mouth shut.

It’s shut no more. After spending a nice chunk of time cleansing my writing palette and playing with a few new-to-me writing techniques, I’m officially back writing the Hollows. AMERICAN DEMON, the next Rachel and Trent book that follows right after THE WITCH WITH NO NAME–has  found a home, and a rough publishing date.

(insert wild-Snoopy-dance here)

I am tickled to be back working with Anne Sowards at ACE, which is where and who I got my start with the Truth and Princess series.  I couldn’t be more pleased.

You guys are going to love this.

–Kim

I can’t say how happy I am that I’ll be able to visit the Hollows again!

I am so excited that you are continuing Rachel’s story! I have listened to the Hollow series many times. I hope you continue with the same narrator, Marguerite Gavin, she does an incredible job with your characters. Again, I am so excited!!!!!

  3. Any updates on the new Hollows book? Waiting with bated breath over here!

Reading this series over and over was my only escape from an abusive relationship. I’ve come to love them and the characters so much!! This is THE BEST NEWS!! Thanks for helping me in my horrible world that I’ve now escaped in real life. All the way from New Zealand x

Very much looking forward to this. Just purchased The Turn to get warmed up.

What is the rough publishing date? I will not hold you to it.

Fantastic news, Kim! I love the series and am currently reading Black Magic Sanction. Rachel is a great heroine, very complex and every book is a nail-biter when she gets into a rock-and-a-hard-place-situation. How will she get herself out of it THIS time?
I also found Darynda Jones’s Charley Davidson series by looking for ‘books to read while waiting for the next Kim Harrison to be published’ (which I will be forever grateful to you for).

So excited!! I read this and yelled “hell yes” and got an interesting look from my boyfriend. 😆

  9. Sondra Steger

This is Sondra again. I forgot to mention my husband is from Cincinnati. That just makes this series more special for us. 🥳

The little puzzle things are annoying but I only had 6 or 7 of them…..
I wish the Hollow series book would be out by the end of the year. We have the rest of the series and we totally love it. The reason I wish it was coming out sooner is because my husband’s birthday is the first week of January and I could get it for his birthday. I guess we will just have to wait. I’m so excited!. Is Ivy going to be in this one? Rachel can’t do as much without Ivy. Also I hope they are still at the church and Jinks’s family are still around, but especially Jinks. Thanks for writing more of this series, it is awesome!!!

  11. I’m so thrilled but I don’t know if I can stand to wait! I was a late blooming fan of “the Hollows” series, actually picked up the first book at a Habitat for Humanity store. The rest is history and I’ve re-read the whole series 5 times already, I’d say, “I’m hooked! “ I can’t get in touch with the local chapter of the “demon collective” fast effect to spread the great news! Thank you, Thank you! Ms. Kim Harrison You’ve made my day!

  12. Waiting avidly for the next installment of th Hollows. Love this series
