Fifth piece reveal of The Witch With No Name

Thank you everyone who entered Friday’s give away. I’ve closed the comments and the winners are Kristine L, Joshua, Monica C., Jaime, and Rezzy. You have until Saturday, 9:00 pm EST to get back to me with a U.S. address. If any prize packs goes unclaimed, I will re-award them on Monday the 28th. Hope to see you Monday for the final cover reveal and TWO chapters of The Witch With No Name.πŸ™‚part 5It’s cover piece number five, and Β I’m jealously guarding that last corner like a five year old with her Halloween candy, saving the best piece for last. Alas, it is not a child’s hand that Rachel is holding, as some of you suggested yesterday at FB, but how cool would that have been? I wanted to wait until the cover of The Witch With No Name was revealed in its entirety before bringing up what we were going for with this cover, but you can really start to see it now. Gold stars for anyone who guesses. Some of it is trying to mirror the first book, but it goes deeper than that. I can’t wait for this to come out this September. (Right after Labor Day!)

WWNN5

Yesterday’s winners are Jess H. Lynnette H. Miranda Carie C. John F. and Tracey T. Β A big congratulations, (and thank you) to everyone who entered. Your prize packs will be in the mail shortly. I am so gratified that everyone is getting back to me so fast. It makes these giveaways so much easier, and therefore, a lot more fun for me.

FridayIt’s a mish-mash today, with the winner gettingΒ oneΒ of the shirts pictured,Β oneΒ of the ARCs, andΒ oneΒ of the cover flats. I don’t know what’s in the package as they are already set to drop in the mail, but hey, it’s free, right? (laugh)

To have a chance to win this, (which is entirely random) all you need to do is post. All this week, I’ve been asking questions, but today, you just have to tell me something. Anything you want.Β If you need a writing prompt, can you guess where the title comes from? It’s still associated with the Clint Eastwood films, but it’s not a direct take from one.Β Please, just one post as your post is your entry into the contest.

I will close the comments tonight at 9:00 P.M. EST, then randomly choose and email the winners right then. They will have 24 hours to get back to me with a U.S. address to claim their prize pack. If a prize pack goes unclaimed, it will go into the second-chance pot, which will be awarded on the 28th, the 10th anniversary of Dead Witch WalkingΒ and the massive Manic Monday I’ve got planned along with the chapter releases. Β (You can enter this second-chance giveaway any time this week, but only enter once though, please. Click here to go to entry post for second-chance giveaways.)

Good luck! I’ll email the winners tonight around 9:30, EST. And don’t forget, I’ll have not one, but two chapters on Monday! Spread the word! πŸ™‚

  4. I am so looking forward to reading this new book when it comes out. I’ll most likely start reading all the books from the beginning (again).
Since this series is ending do you have another series in mind? I love reading and I am always looking forward to reading whatever I can find that you have written.

  5. Ruth S

My comment might be boring but I sure am glad it is Friday. It has been a week 11 hour work days and then throw in getting hit from behind at a stop light that I was stopped at. Makes me glad it is over.

  6. I just want to say I’m very excited to read this book in September! And I’m sad it is the last for this series, but I am excited to see what you come up with next!

  7. Amanda P

I’m so excited to read the first couple of chapters, except i will be really anxious for the release of the last book.

  8. I will definitely, definitely, definitely miss this series when the last book comes out. Kim, it has been a joy reading about Rachel, Ivy, Jenks, etal. The Hollows world was my introduction to the urban fantasy genre and have used it as a standard for other books. Thank you for creating this and looking forward to your next series! I believe the title of the last book was taken from Clint Eastwood’s character in his spaghetti western films as The Man With No Name. πŸ˜€

  9. Paula Schramm

With the ending of the series, I feel like I’m losing part of my family. Your writing makes the characters come alive in my imagination and I will miss them all.

  10. Kim S

This such a great series, no matter how many times I read it. I will miss them, they have become dear friends.

  11. Michelle

  14. Pamela Stevenson

I love how Rachel is such a compassionate bad-ass.

  15. Never2old4Glitter

While I am sad that our journey with Rachel is coming to a close, I cannot wait to meet Petrie! Thanks for being so awesome!

  16. Scott Bristow

    Please keep writing!!!!!!!!!!!1

  17. Kara

I would love to win something from you! Your books are my fave.

  18. munchkin

so excited that the next book will be out so soon, but bittersweet to say goodbye to Rachel and Co. When i saw you on tour i mentioned how amazing it is that you did a reread with the fandom and posted your thoughts and feelings right along with all of us as part of your goodbye to The Hallows.

  19. I looked forward to every story in this series. I always looked forward to the new year because I knew I would have another adventure with characters that are as real to me as many of my friends. Thank you! I can’t wait to meet the next book!

  20. Kelley Teague

Maybe she is holding a riding crop.

  21. Chris Long

Nothing to say except thank you for an amazing ride through the Hollows. All the twists and turns brought us to what I know will be an extremely bittersweet ending. I’m going to miss all my friends

  22. Sonovia Kearse

Thanks for writing the Hollows series. Its kept me up many nights trying to get to the last page of each book. I hope the sleepless nights continue with your next series!

  23. Super glad it’s Friday and can’t wait for a game night Sunday!!

  24. Hello! I was looking at the title of your new book and I think it seems from the song Horse With No Name by America. I love all the titles of your books! Nice word play.

  25. Joseph Pirrello

I have always loved the titles of the books, they caught my eye, and after I read the first one I was hooked. Thank you for all the great books!!!!!

  26. Susan

Kim, your vision of the Hollows and all its denizens is absolutely perfect! I can’t think of a single thing that would make it better. I am SO happy that I discovered this series, even if it was only in February. Your Hollows series will be on my bedside table always–a close friend. Thank you!

  27. Amy Griffin

I’m a bit sad the series is ending, but will reread these book – the characters are sympathetic and most do grow, to become better selves! Thank you Kim!

  28. Tanja

Thanks for such an awesome series!

  29. katherine tildes

Love the series. Thank you for this awesome series!

  30. Carl Fox

I really love this series. Will be glad to read the last one, yet sad to see an end.

  31. Krissie Luethge

There is no try! That’s something

  32. Jasmine D

Something! Let’s see. Stuffing hay nets at the barn today for my mother, I realized just how many places one could get hay without even trying πŸ˜› LOL

    Love your books, btw.

  33. love, love, love this series! will miss them all ❀

  34. I’m so looking forward to this new book! Great cover too! It it on of five series I actually keep physical book copies of, due to limited space.

  35. Candice FigaroLuk

I dont know which movie the name came from but I just would like to win!!!!

  36. Kitiara

I have all the paperbacks, now I have to get them all for the Kindle! Need to reread before WWNN comes out!

  37. She will be the only witch who is able to do the things that she can do, thus there is “no name” for her since she’s the only one.
I hate, hate, hate that this will be the last book in this series. Reading it will be like eating candy coated in aspic, brimstone or something else just as bitter..lol

  38. I started reading this series with Black Magic Sanction and fell in love with the series immediately!! When the final book comes out this fall it will be bittersweet for me. On one hand the series will be coming to a close and I dread it ending. But, on the other hand I can’t wait for the final book to come out because then I will know how it all ends. That’s one thing about me, I like to know the what happens, and the hopeless romantic in me always hopes for a good and happy ending that leaves you satisfied!!

  39. Jan V

Tell you something?? Ok. I was watching the Red Wings lose last night, when I got an email from you. I got all excited thinking I was one of the winners for the day’s prize pack…It was your Newsletter…Damn!!!!!!

  40. Elizabeth C

Once the last book comes out I’m going to re-read the whole series! I did this for the undead pool. πŸ™‚

  41. Chrissie S.

It’s been four years since I first read Dead Witch Walking and since then this has quickly become my favorite series.

  42. I’m 1 book behind, but maybe TWWNN is referring to Rachel slipping into a life where she isn’t notorious? Where she can just feel like a normal person.

  43. Talitha L

Well, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting you which was totally awesome. Now you need to come back to AZ to meet the 3rd generation of Hollows readers. My daughter is now reading the fun and she was just a tiny thing when I first started reading your books. My son will probably be reading your books before too long too.

  44. Donna Murphy

The Witch with No Name……That song, “I’ve been through the desert on a horse with no name”, keeps running through my head. Not sure if the “horse with no name” came from an Eastwood film or not. One thing I know for sure is I really hate that this will be the end of the series! You have made me love the characters and all their little quirks. Bis….Bis is my favorite! I just love that little gargoyle. Thanks for sharing your mind with us and letting all of us meet Rachel and the gang. Can’t wait to see what comes next!!!

  45. Laura

Love your books! They gotten me through many a road trip!! Don’t know what we’ll do after the last book!

  46. sarah

I have 3 wonderfull boys and the books give me a much needed break. I find myself in another world full of witches, vampires and pixie. Thank you for great stories.

  47. moonbeam0806

So… I am going to say how excited I was at first when I saw the winners for Apr 22 drawing… then realized I was not the right Jennifer. 😦 LOL it is still fun to try though!

  48. Emmalee Fore

Your books have been my haven from crazy day to day strife and i appreciate your work. It really does can people what you do, you give a happiness that only your readers can appreciate. Thank you!!

  49. Tiffany Adams

I am dreading and LOVING this last book so far. For once in my life, I’m not dying for the release date. Savor is now my mantra, not MUST….HAVE…

  50. I can’t wait to graduate college in 10 days so I can finally FINALLY have a free minute (or 180 of them) to read the Undead Pool!!!!

  51. writersblood

I can believe the series is ending! I think I was in middle school when I started the series(?) Or early highschool and now I’m almost done with my AA! Can you believe it?

  52. Other Heather

In case my husband still comes here… HONEY, I’VE HAD THE LAST BOOK DOWNLOADED ON KINDLE FOREVER, HURRY UP AND READ IT SO i CAN RE-READ IT PLEASE!!!

  53. Becky C

I love your books. Will you ever come to Barnes & Noble in Huntsville, Alabama? If did I’d be there. I’ve never met a who writes books before. A Witch with No Name could Rachael be pregnant? That would be a good twist. I’m reading The Undead Pool now and reading slow so to make it last longer. πŸ™‚

  54. Edward N. Carson

Although I love summer I can’t wait until September.

  55. Angela K

    I’m hungry.

  56. Like most posting here I just wanted to thank you for giving us such a great story. I’m looking forward to the final book and to see what will be coming next. I’m pretty sure you’re going to miss her just as much as we will…

  57. I love the fact that you gave this last book’s name as a nod to one of his characters (The Man With No Name). I hate to see the series end since they’ve been amazing. I bawled my eyes out when Kisten died. And then when she sealed the room permanently as kind of a memorial, I had to put the book down for a bit because I couldn’t continue (and I usually finish these within the first hour). Kisten was my favourite character out of the whole series. I especially loved the short story of him defending his sister and her son. I’ll miss continuing on within the Hollows and seeing everyone develop and grow. Thank you for a superb series. I can only hope that this could make it onto the big screen (but only if they don’t change them so that they suck).

  58. RuthAnn Hadsell

Just like everyone else I am bummed this is the last book, but now I can reread them all again and not have the torturous wait for the next. I will miss the whole gang, but definitely excited to see what is next!

  59. Jennifer P.

My crazy sister made me a Hollows themed birthday card with Trent’s waffle recipe inside! Lol, I also gave her a signed copy of A Perfect Blood for her birthday.

  60. Teresa Roetto

Love your writing. Your descriptions of magic seem so real and plausible. Your characters are so richly defined I think that I would recognize them on the street. I look forward to your next work. Thanks for the Hollows.

  61. I’m sad to see the series ending but glad there will be a HEA. I will miss Rachel and the rest but I’m sure you are working on the next exciting series that will have us all captivated once again so instead of being sad, I’m excited to see what you will write next!

  62. Alyssa Montgomery

Clint Eastwood plays the Man with No Name in the Dollars Trilogy. A Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More, and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. AKA A Fistful of Charms, For A Few Demons More, and The Good, the Bad, and the Undead (not in order). Which brings us to The Witch with No Name.

Can’t wait for this, I’m having heart palpitations! Haha! Not really, but I’m SUPER excited πŸ˜€

  63. Meg Brown

I’m loving this cover so much! Can’t wait to see the completed image. πŸ˜€

  64. Laura Hauser

I can’t wait for the book to come out! I hate to see it come to an end, though, as it is one of only a few series that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and not gotten bored after only a few books. I loved seeing how all of the characters have grown and evolved.

  65. Rezzy

I can’t believe the end is coming. This is my favorite series by far. I’ll enjoy a nice re-read after this πŸ™‚

  66. Crystal Marianna

I am extremely grateful to have found The Hollows series. Thank you for sharing your brilliant mind with us. Reading the books have always been a great escape for me. I never want the book to end because it means I have to come back to reality. I am happy in the direction the series went and am anxious to see how it ends. Many blessings to you, Kim.

  67. Cyndy E

So, did anyone else search for A Witch with No Name on google? apparently there is an android game in the google play store with the same name. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slimcricket.sorcieresansnom

  68. Diana L.

I can’t wait to find out what Rachel’s happy ending is AND am hoping (fingers crossed that you will tour the west coast again – specifically sunny California)! πŸ™‚

  69. Cyndy E

Does the last bit of cover include Bis? or maybe what the chrysalis becomes?

  70. Looking forward to the new world you’re going to share with us. This one has been a wild ride.

  71. LuAnne

Hi Kim, this is one series that I will read over and over.

  72. Liz

I haven’t read White Witch Black Curse, it’s the only one I haven’t read. I have the book but I can’t bear to read Kristen’s death and Rachel’s reaction to finding out how and why he died, I just can’t. I barely handled Rachel anf Ivy’s reaction in the book previous and the book after it without reading through tears. I don’t believe I can handle her feelings as she finds out what happened.

  73. Christopher B.

I’ve enjoyed this journey with you and I plan to be on board when you start the next series for that journey. I’m sure it will be just as amazing as this one.

  74. This is so bittersweet. The Hollow is my favorite series, and I’m sad to see it end. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful characters with us!

  75. Wynter

I am going to miss this series!!! I do not want it to end but I am looking foward to seeing how it does 🌹 hopefully there will be more stories from this world!

  76. Erica

I love the series, and it seems, at least once a month, I point some new reader to your series. . . I am sad to see it end, but excited for your next project. . . . Although I must ask, for your last tour, please come to Denver. . . We missed you here!

  77. Allie

I hate to see my favorite series end but at the same time am curious to see how it ends.

  78. Nancy Krissoff

After 2 days, the Everafter Sun, and the Demons skin is red..
After three days torture and other fun, do we know if Nick is dead?
You see I’ve read the Hollows books about a Witch with no name
And it’s bitter sweet just the same
Even Kimm, has to hide her name
What will she “Cook” up next is anyone’s game..la lalalalallalala…

  79. Wade Greiner

The Clint Eastwood character was called “The Man With No Name” in 3 of his most famous spaghetti westerns. Still hoping that Jenks makes an appearance in that final corner…

  80. Alicia Weiler

Sad to see this series come to a close. 😦

  81. Sarah S.

The Hollows was an impulse purchase and one of the best I ever made.

  82. Wendy

I have really enjoyed the ride with Rachel and the gang. I will miss them greatly! Just got Undead Pool and it is next on the list (waiting till I finish a Kelley Armstrong – Hope you don’t mind sharing space!). Can’t wait to see what’s next!

  83. Stephen Butler

Been 10 years through the Hollows with a Witch with no name
Both happy and sad just the same..
In the Hollows, you have to hide your true name
cause if your summoned from the shower it’s really a pain…la lalalalalal…

  84. Yvonne Slusher

Although I cannot wait to read the last book, please leave open the possibility that we will see Rachel Ivy and Jinx again –maybe in a couple of years they will need to save the world again.

  85. josh baker

    The man with no name

  86. Tempest McMichael

It has sure been a long ride with Rachel and the gang! I can’t believe it’s ending, but I know I can trust you to make it an ending we will all love! Thank you so much for the time and effort you have put into the series, and for never letting us fans down.

  87. Amanda M

I’m wondering what the background structure is – the arches maybe??

  88. Krissy Campbell

When I was 14 in 2004, my parents divorced. Among all the chaos, I found a paperback copy of Dead Witch Walking, and it was the ticket to my survival. Every year I anxiously await the next novel and jump into Rachel’s world. This book series means the world to me and I can’t imagine what I’ll do when it’s finished. (You know, besides re-read it until the end of time.)

  89. calikat1

The ending of the Hollows series is bittersweet. It has been a great read! Thank you so much!

  90. Jodi

It has been a wonderful journey!

  91. Clint Eastwood was the “Man with no Name” in three of his spaghetti westerns. Can’t see Rachel being a nameless witch in 3 books, though…unless you change your mind about ending the series and have her run around for 3 more books trying to find out who she is πŸ™‚

  92. I can’t wait for the last book. it is hard to believe the series is ending.

  93. Cindi Gillespie

The title alludes to The Man (or Stranger, I don’t remember which) with No Name from Eastwood’s character in the early movies (fist full of dollars, good bad & ugly, etc) I think.

  94. Love your books Kim, I don’t know what else to say. Rachel Morgan’s books where the first long books I read in English and they encoraged me to go for more. Love the caracters you create. I cried with Kisten’s dead, been proud and mad with Rachel and had tons or laughs with Jenks. You have created a wonderfull world and made us feel it could be real. THANKS FOR ALL OF THIS!

  95. I stumbled upon this series after finishing a Laurell K. series and I have been hooked since then. Thank you for all the amazing stories and laughs. Best of luck to you in all your future projects.

  96. Janice Weigle

The Pale Rider, is the name of the book about a stranger with no name!

  97. Dani Pierce

Thank you for writing such a wonderful set of complex characters. I have laughed and cried along with them, because they drew me into their world and made me care deeply for them. I’m sad that this will be the last Hollows book, but I can’t wait to see who you bring us next. Thank you.

  98. Love the Hollows – I even got my hub to read them. Hope your bunnies keep burning even though Rachel’s story is done.

  99. Suzanne Jamison

I am currently reading your last book that my sister got personalized from you for my Christmas present. πŸ™‚ Reading your books makes me think about things and feel more creative and inspired, thank you for that. I have them all so far and believe I will start reading through the series again soon. Love all your characters, especially Jenks. They are all real for me which shows what an awesome author you are! I grew up on all the westerns thanks to my Dad so the man with no name is no stranger to me…

  100. joek248

Im sad/mad. Now that the Hollows series it coming to a ended. I don’t know what i going to read the Hollows series was the only books i read. All i can say is i hope i like your new series. Thank for all the heart soul and hard work you put in to the books .

  101. Joseph Fiorini

Thank you kim for giving me hours and hours of escape from reality. Cant wait to see whats next.

  102. Desiree Franklin

Here’s my ?: why don’t you ever come to Orlando, Fl for a book tour? I’d love to come to a book signing of yours!

  103. eva HernΓ‘ndez

I am excited and sad about this book. I just feel like waiting and reading the hollows every year has become part of my life you know?

  104. alana scott

I can’t wait to see what comes next. Always bittersweet when a series is done. But at least we can all reread to our hearts content πŸ˜€

  105. I will have to hide out on Sept. 9th!! Can’t wait.

  106. Nette

Almost 1300 comments! Which blog has the highest number of comments/posts?

  107. Brady Anderson

I hate to see this series ends there are still so many things that could be explored that hasn’t been resolved.

  108. sugarpaws81

I’m gonna need some Rachel/Trent babies….find a way to make it happen LOL!

  109. Gina N.

I’m really really sad that we won’t be following Rachel and the gang after the next book. They’ve followed me through so much. But I guess that just means I’ll have to re-read the book every year >D

  110. EmilySchmemily

The guillotine was still used in France until 1977. David Bowie had 10 records out already, the laser had been usable for over 15 years, and Carrie White had killed her school on the big screen.

  111. I can’t think of the Clint Eastwood movies because I keep hearing the song in my head…horse with no name it felt good to be out of the rain……. I love all of your books and can’t wait for The Witch With No Name to come out and look forward to reading the first two chapters on Monday.

  112. Laura M Kelly

I can’t wait to read the last book in the series. Are you working on another series?

  113. Trinity

I can’t wait to see the last piece of the cover!

  114. elihawkins6

    Anything. πŸ™‚

  115. Shelley

I am very sad that The Hollows is ending.. Usually if a series goes beyond 5 books I lose interest, but I feel like your books have gotten better and better with each one. I’m not ready for them to stop! Thank you so much for giving me something to look forward to reader year after year! I can’t wait to read what you come out with next!

  116. Lingeorge

I believe the title comes from the early Spaghetti Westerns (Fistful of Dollars/For a Few Dollars More) where we had the Man with No Name.

  117. verra

I’m paraphrasing Steven King here. A short story is like a quick kiss in the dark. A novel is more like a love affair. Thank you for the ten year affair; it made my life much more interesting.

  118. Dawn Wendeln

I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series and will be sad to see Rachel, Ivy, Jinks and Trent leave. The Hollow’s series has been great fun and I hope that you will create another series that is equally as fun. Thank you so very much for all the joy you have given your readers.

  119. Ginger Ivey

I have loved reading this series! I have laughed, cried, and even used Tink’s name in vain!! : ) This book will be bittersweet. I hope you continue to work your magic for years to come. The Hollows would be a great tv series!! – just saying πŸ˜‰

  120. KeeleyS

Leaving the Hollows for the last time is definitely going to be sad. This series has been a part of my life for a little over seven years so it’s a little heartbreaking to let it go. I am so happy that you are leaving Rachel in a good place. She has certainly earned it! On an upnote, I’m REALLY looking forward to meeting Peri! Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us all these years. P.S. The cover of DWW always looks to me like Rachel looking through a portal of time.

  121. Laura Stratton

Thank you Kim. You are an amazing author, you have given so many of us the ability to live through the pages of an awesome series. To get so wrapped up that it all seems so very real. So thank you for the greatest series out there. What’s next after the Hallows?

  122. Marsha Eggleston

I just want to tell you how much I Love The Hollows series! I even try to get all of my family and friends to read them… πŸ™‚ Even though I can’t wait to read the final book, I’m sad to see the series end. I have yet to read the last two, and of course the final one in September, but I’m getting there. I began rereading them when The Undead Pool came out, because I hadn’t read Ever After yet, so I could refresh my memory. I’m currently at White Witch, Black Curse. I would love the opportunity to see you again on a book tour, hopefully in Battle Creek, MI…

I hope to see your new work, soon, and that it is just as exciting as The Hollows.

  123. Meih M.

Sad that this series is ending, but looking forward to your next books.

  124. My guess her ley line fxing the ever after and the vampires

  125. Thalia Warren

A horse with no name is the only thing i could think of, though its not clint eastwood.

  126. Stephanie H.

I’ve always wanted to attend a signing, but never made it. When I was in Oklahoma for grad school, you came to Chicago. When I moved back to Illinois, you went to Tulsa. The hubs and I made a deal that we will make a signing this time, even if it means a road trip! However, I’m keeping my fingers crossed you’ll be close to IL, especially Chicago! I have a great independent bookstore in the suburbs you could visit!

  127. Rebecca

I wish I could jet away to some forgotten place and be by myself for awhile

  128. Joe

I wish the series wasn’t going to end. However, it is a better alternative than continuing a series & letting it go downhill & become stale like some other series have. I’ll miss the group, however…

  129. Anika D

I’m excited for the new book, but I’m going to be so sad to say goodbye. Your books are so amazing, and I constantly reread the series, the Hollows is my favorite place to be. Thank you so much for bringing us this amazing series!

  130. A. C. Horan

Just came looking for how long I have to wait for the next book. So sad it is ending but, can’t wait to read it.

  131. I love the story and I love the thought and wonder you put into it. I am excited to see it in it’s conclusion, but I do not want it to end. I guess the split personalities can not agree on anything except we love the books, characters, and all you do Ms. Kim. Forever grateful for the intro!

  132. Lisa Masters

Thank you so much for sharing The Hollows world with us. I’ve loved the entire journey and can’t wait to read the next/last book.

  133. Tammy

I’ll admit I cheated a bit…the title is a take on The Man with No Name in the Dollars Trilogy. My curiosity was peaked and I googled it. πŸ™‚ Love the Hollows series and can’t wait to see what’s in store for your readers next!

  134. After hearing you read a passage of your book recently, I started re-reading the entire series. I see so much of you in Rachel now, she has your voice. I’m so sad to have the series end.

  135. Matthew Hopper

If I win I’ll be giving it all to my wife! She’ll go nuts!

  136. Courtney Brown

I love these books and I feel this amazing connection to Rachel. I love how her friends are always there and the fact that Trent feel in love with her. I have been waiting for there love to come together. Thank you Kim for giving these characters a voice and for letting me loose myself in their story .

  137. Marla

    I think it’s ivy soul

  138. Bonnie

Glad I only have to wait until September! Love these books!

  139. smorrison07

I’m so excited to read the end of Rachel’s journey, but also a little sad. I feel like I’ve know her and the gang forever! I’m going to miss them all.

  140. I am just so sad that its almost over!!! But I will continue reading whatever you write because you have hooked me as a fan for life!

  141. I don’t want it to end!!!! But on the other hand, I can. not. wait. to read this book.

  142. Kara Barnes

Just want to say Thank You! I love these books and don’t want the series to end. I love reading about Rachel. Thanks for all the memories.

  143. Jackie Bundens

Sorry that the series is ending, but looking forward to a new one. Looks like she is gonna set a fire spell on some one.

  144. Ashley

I’m excited but also sad the series is coming to an end. Can’t wait for your next projects too.

  145. I will miss Rachel and the crew!

  146. Don Rose

    I love the Hollows!

  147. I really hope that you are able to come back to the San Francisco Bay Area for your last tour. I’d love to get your autograph and thank you in person for such a great series. It has been a fun ride.

  148. Patty Tabor

The title is in reference to the characters he played in all the spaghetti westerns. A big thank you for all the countless hours of escape. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next.

  149. Well it’s been a wild ride! Kim your books have gotten me through some dark times. I always feel like I’m visiting close family and friends when I read another book in the series (cause I love the characters so much!) I’m very excited for the next installment. It will be bittersweet, I’m going to miss them all. But I’m looking forward to new work and a great cast of characters from you in the future. Thank you and best of luck.

  150. Jimena Inda

I don;t want the series to end!! =(, looking forward to the next books you do.

  151. Kate Raney

While I am sad that the series is ending, I am happy that you are writing it as long as it needs to be written and not drawing it out for a third party (which would be easy to do). It is a wonderful series and I am definitely a life-long fan now. πŸ™‚

  152. This is absolutely my favorite series. I am going to be so sad when this ends. It has been a heck of a ride! Thanks Kim for sharing your gift with us!

  153. Thank you for the time and effort you put into your writing and the attention you give to your fans. It has been a pleasure escaping into your world all of these years, and though it is sad to see the series end, I am happy in the knowledge that I can always grab a copy off of my shelf and reread it again, Thank you!

  154. Sabrina P.

I’m sad to see the series end but am looking forward to reading the last book. I definitely hope everyone gets a happily ever after. πŸ™‚

  155. Heidi

I’ve spent many a night up far too late because I couldn’t put these books down… thank you for a fantastic series!

  156. So very much looking forward to September now! I think I’ll re-read the entire series beginning mid-July in celebration πŸ˜‰

  157. Wendy B

So excited for this next book but also so very sad it’s the end. Hope you start a new series to follow!

  158. Thank you Kim, for the fun giveaways, the insider tips, & for the Hollows!

  159. One thing to tell you. I knit some really awesome hats. I posted to my etsy store and did not sell any. meh, thats life. I am excited and happy and sad at the same time for the new book.

  160. One thing to tell you. I knit some really great hats.I posted them to my etsy store and did not sell a one. 😦 oh well. I am excited and sad at the same time for your new book.

  161. Jaimee G

So looking forward to this book πŸ™‚

  162. I’ve learned something- demons like cookies! Can’t wait for the last book (so long as Trent and Rachel have a HEA together)!

  163. I feel like a certain chapter of my life well be ending with the Hollows. I was definitely in a very place a decade ago. I’m kind of relieved, honestly. Sad, but relieved.

  164. lavinia68

No matter how many times i reread this series, i cry every time someone dies; i always cry the hardest with Peter, though i’m not sure why. Once the series is over, i plan on hunting down a first edition for everyone, as well as both a hard back and paperback for each book. πŸ™‚

  165. James e

I’m so sorry to see this series coming to a close…..

  166. I love the Hollows series!!!

  167. izzybella

My comment is just a thank you. Thank you for endless hours of escape into the world of a character I admire. Some days it’s nice to be in Rachel’s world and feel her strength. Her odds are way worse than mine and there are no guarantees ever that she will have a good day. In fact, she has many bad ones but she keeps going. It’s kinda awesome, actually.

  168. CrankyBytch

I don’t want the hollows to go. At least I’ll still be able to visit it from time to time. 😦

  169. Keltten

    Never let it end!!!

  170. Charlie

Although I put The Witch With No Name on my Goodreads TBR shelf to help get the 1st two chapters released on Monday, I am not going to read them until 9/9/14. I want to read the last Hollows book from chapter 1 to the end without interruption.

  171. Thank you so much for the Hollows!

  172. Love all of the Clint Eastwood references, this one is one of his characters!!

  173. Kathy M

I started to reread this series again recently for the 3rd time and I can’t believe this is going to be the last book! I am heart-broken! I know a story can’t go on forever but one can wish. I will have to look into your other series. I enjoyed the Hollows so much I know I can find something of yours I might like almost as much as the Hollows! Loving how the cover is coming together as well!

  174. Kimberly Marshall

What can I say? Well, I can’t believe The Witch With No Name will be the end of The Hollows series. Living in The Hollows has been a wonderful adventure and hope to one day see your vision come to life. You are an amazing writer and deserve the very best! Thank you for sharing your story with the world πŸ™‚
I look forward to more of your writing in the future.

  175. Debi Albright

I have to admit, I’m going to miss The Hollows when this is over. And now to figure out when to start re reading the series so I can read all 13 in a row when the last book comes out! (Maybe even add in the short stories too :D)

  176. Starla Y.

I am excited to read and share this with my favorite bookworm. Thank you for such a wonderful series.

  177. Dawn P

I’m excited fro the last book, but totally bummed its the last book, if you know what i mean.

  178. inkie

I’m part of a little theater troupe that performs at conventions. A few months ago, the t-shirt printers who do our backstage shirts made me one that reads: “Plan B: Grab the fish and run like hell.” It really made my day.
Whenever anyone asks about my shirt, I tell them all about your books! πŸ™‚

  179. Jo

My heart is broken at the thought of ‘the last book’ in this series. 😦 My ferverent prayer is that the new series (Peri’s story) is as good as the Hollows has made me. This has been a wonderful addition to my book collection. thank you Kim. Thank you.

  180. Luna

I know it’s from A Man With No Name but A Horse With No Name started playing in my head! Aaaah, I’m so sad it’s so close to ending! This is one of my favorite series so far, AND alerted me that Urban Fantasy was A Thing!

  181. ooh The Witch With No Name… Where does this title originate? Well, I’m reminded of scenes of Rachel and Al in the Ever After the many times she encounters the only other female demon (I spaced her name) and the one everyone doesn’t call by her real name because she will remember the history and try to destroy them all with how angry she is. Can’t beleive I’ve misplaced her name.. Still, she’s pretty scary, all the other demons are scared of her. I wonder if Rachel is going to fight a new witch or is she going to realize a brand new thing about herself and that she is not really a demon but a witch and she doesn’t have a name yet.. that’s my 50cents.. I’m waiting on hold..#6 or less now, at the library to read The Undead Pool.

  182. Love this series. Sad to see it go 😦

  183. Kat

Awesome cover! Well, Clint was called “The Man with no Name” in a Fistful of Dollars. So excited to get another Hollows book this year but so sad to say goodbye to some very beloved characters.

  184. Denise Bottoms

How about “High Plains Drifter”? Re-reading Dead Pool, hate to see tje family break up.

  185. CheyEnne

What will my daughter and i do now. I guess we need a new series from you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

  186. Jeannie L

    I see a car…and a bridge…

What I am thinking is that it may have something to do with the Rosewood babies.

I’m very much looking forward to another book, but not the end of the series. I have loved reading about Rachel’s adventures and mishaps. They kept me up many a night.

Many kudos to Kim for her amazing talent and I eagerly anticipate any new books that she treats us to.

  187. Robin

Can hardly wait to see what new adventures you have in store for us in your next incarnation.

  188. The man with no name …. (Joe) … LOL … from the spaghetti westerns … A Fist Full Of Dollars,For A Few Dollars More,& The Good the Bad & the Ugly …. That’s what caught my eye when I saw your first book … I LOVE Clint Eastwood !! And I’ve been a fan of yours ever since !!!! πŸ˜€ ❀

  189. PixieGirl

Okay, I had to Google it to be sure I had my facts straight, but the title of the final Hollows book is a play on ‘The Man With No Name’ – a character portrayed by Clint Eastwood in three movies that have been used as the basis for titles of Hollows novels (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly). And appropriately, The Man with No Name was a bounty hunter.
I have to say that the Hollows series has been a fun ride, and I’m sad to see it come to an end. I’m hoping for a Hollows reunion tour in a few years with some peeks back into things we didn’t get to see during the series (maybe Rachel and Trent at camp, some history on the conflict between the elves and demons, or some personal history on Al and Newt), and possibly a look forward into the future (what’s going on with Rachel and Trent, how are things playing out with the Rosewood babies).
    πŸ˜‰

  190. sherri c

I absolutely will miss this series. it came to me in a time of my life that the escape to adventure with these characters was exactly what I needed. Thankyou Kim, you’re the best.

  191. Michelle C.

One of the professors I work with got me hooked on your books. She loaned me the first several books over Christmas break and I finished them all in two weeks. I went out and bought them and ever since read every single one. It will be sad for it to end. I have enjoyed the joy and sadness throughout the series

  192. amanda kwok

Your hollows series will always be my all time favorite, and I cannot wait to see what other burning bunnies pop from your head in the future πŸ˜‰

  193. Tamara

So sad that this series is ending. It’s like saying goodbye to good friends. The best birthday gift I have ever received was an autographed copy of “Ever After”.

  194. Miranda Sullivan

Pam that is no joke at all, last night I was telling the husband how much Kisten’s death sucked and I was just rambling on about books. He got a real kick out the Tink cursing yesterday, and I told him that year’s before I had ever seen the books, probably all they way back to my teens, I used Mother pus bucket just like Al, he said he would have to remember that one.

  195. james310

Aliases The Stranger, The Hunter, The Bounty Killer
And these are nicknames”Joe” (A Fistful of Dollars)
“Manco” (For a Few Dollars More)
“Blondie” (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly)

  196. It is ridiculous how many times I have either quoted or told people about Jenks! I can’t help it. He makes me laugh out loud. I wish he was on the corner of that cover… Also I’ll give you this one. One year I made my sister a “Hollows” themed homemade card with a copy of Trent’s waffles inside!!!! I am bereft over the ending of this series! *tears up*

  197. September seems so far away and then I think, we could have had to wait until February! I am hoping that the whole gang gets their happy ending.

  198. April

So sad this series is coming to an end… But excited to see what happens!!!!

  199. Patti Pisarek

It’s sad to leave the Hallows but I’ll bet this is going to be the best book EVER! Clint Eastwood was known as the “Man with no Name”.

  200. Crystal

I’ve been reading this series since the beginning and can’t believe that it will be coming to an end soon. Luckily, you will be bringing something new to read, can’t wait! Thanks for all of the amazing reads.

  201. Michelle Witt

I never win, but maybe I will this time you never know! I LOVE This series. I will be sad when I finally hit the last book and there is no more! I hope these books get on the BIG screen. Hollywood is seriously bored. Of all the movies that they remake and books they make movies of this should be at the top of the list. HP movies and books were good and caught on quick, I wish they would get with the program and get your books on the Big Screen!!!!

  202. sad to see the series ending but I can’t wait to read it!

  203. Your books are my favorite out of all the books I read, I’m going to hate it when the Hollows is over but i’m also excited to read your new series!

  204. Jaime Arellano

I think of your books whenever I have ketchup. πŸ™‚

  205. What to read when I can’t figure out what I want to read? re-read your books! I picked them up and can’t give them away or loan them out…not willing to lose them!

  206. Karen Beck

I absolutely loved this series and will be sad to see it end. You are great at what you do and I am sure the next series will be great also. Hopefully we will see some short stories or more novels on the Hollows in the future.

  207. Miranda Thomas

I started rereading the books, and I forgot how much of a bad idea Nick seemed from the very beginning. It doesn’t take long after the incident in the library basement for it to be clear that Nick is just such a bad idea.

  208. Please randomly pick me, I LOVE THE HOLLOWS and your SUPER GIVEAWAYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  209. Kelly Benson

I believe it comes from “The Man with no name which is a character that Clint played.

  210. Elizabeth Acosta

I’ve always enjoyed trying to figure out what Clint Eastwood movie you were pulling your titles from. The first fee I got right away because they were ones I was more familiar with. Later ones I’ve had to research to learn what movie they belong to. The only thing that pops to mind w/ this title – is the song “I’ve been through the Desert on a horse w/ no name”. Maybe had to do w/ Trent’s horses and the world Al and other demons live in – very desert like.

  211. Leah moyse

Absolutely no clue soz! But I love the books and am from rainy old England and really want to win something!

  212. Laura K Thorpe

I’m going to miss Rachel, Jenks, Al, Ivy, Trent, and all……but I also have faith that some day in the future, you’ll give us a little more be it in short story form or even another novel. Thank you for this series!!

  213. Rhonda B.

Clint Eastwood character is “The Man with No Name.” LOVE this series!!

  214. Keith

Clint Eastwood’s character was referred to as the man with no name in A Fistfull of Dollars, For a few dollars more, and The Good, the bad and the Ugly

  215. Leanna F

I’m so glad that I started this series. As sad as I am that this is the last book, I am excited to check out the next series .
P.S. Thank you for all of the amazing give aways you have been having!

  216. Tiff

The previous book releases have been close to holidays for my husband and I. So he would just buy the book and I’d be happy happy. We don’t have anything special going on in September, I will just have to make something up!

  217. uta

The new title comes from the 1960s trilogy of spaghetti westerns (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) in wich Clint Eastwood plays the man with no name.
    Can’t wait and many thanks.

  218. Jackie

Clint Eastwood’s character in “A Fistfull of Dollars” etc. was referred to as The Man With No Name! As many other have said, I am looking forward to The Witch With No Name but will be sad to see the series end!

  219. Beth Fetterman

I’m sooo sad to see it end! Your creativity is boundless so I’m sure your next book/ series will be awesome too!

  220. Stephanie Armstrong

The Man With No Name is Clint Eastwood’s character right?
I’m rereading the series in anticipation for the final book and man these books always make me crave pizza and coffee!! πŸ˜‰
I’m so very sad these books are ending, I feel like I’m losing friends. Its been a wonderful ride!

  221. Linda M Evans

A man with no name is the character played by Clint Eastwood in the 3 spagettti westerns: 1. A Fistfull of Dollars
    2. For a few dollars more
    3. The Good, the bad and the Ugly

Kim, I loved the Rachael Morgan series ! Being a hopeless romantic, I hope that Rachael & Trent are still together and have their HEA together
    when book 13 ends.

  222. Sarah

oh man, is Jenks on her shoulder?? that’d be cool. and Labor Day? not our usual February? sweet, i didn’t want to wait that long.

  223. Krista D

While I’m sad that the series is ending, I’m so glad that we don’t have to wait a year for the last book to be released!

  224. Sarah P

Do you know if you will be starting a new series? I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and would love to continue reading anything you write. πŸ™‚

  225. Rocky Reeves

I’ve been an avid reader for over 50 years. And yes, that adds up to a lot of books and a lot of great writers. During that time I’ve come across many wonderful writers whose work I have greatly enjoyed. But there are a very few that were above all the rest. Their words reached a place inside the reader that nearly good writers, and even many great ones, could never go. They are the best of the best. And you Kim are a member of that elite group. Your characters become real in a way that most writers can only dream of. Believe me, there are many writers with multiple New York Times #1 best sellers that can’t come close to this ability of yours.

  226. June V.

Feels like I just got started on these and now they are ending. So sad but I’m sure you have other tales to tell. Keep them coming !

  227. Lauren Winkler

I really can’t wait for this book to come out, but I am going to miss this series badly!!!

  228. Anita Gorsuch

Sad to be reaching the end of Rachel and Co.’s story!

  229. Shelly thomas

Love these books I get sucked into them and can’t stop reading till I finish them

  230. Amber Robinson

I’m seeing a bridge! Unsure what else is going to be on that cover.
Ughn… can’t believe this is going to be over soon! It’s been amazing.

  231. Ruth

I’m so excited that there’s one more book since I thought the undead pool was the last one

  232. Krystin

Clint Eastwood is often the man with no name πŸ™‚

  233. mark broughton

I believe Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns movies refer to him as the man with no name..

  234. Tiffany

Thank you for ten years of this wonderful series! I’m going to miss the characters so much. They truly have felt like family. I’ll be re-reading these time and again.

  235. lllevine

I believe that you are only presented with obstacles you can overcome.

  236. Matt Westmoreland

Earlier this week, you asked us what book we had read first. Now, I will say that the only reason I did purchase it was due to a recommendation from my father, What is the oldest fan you have had write you? I doubt my dad is in the running, but he is 66. πŸ™‚

  237. Chelsea Britt

This is definitely one of my all time favorite series :]

  238. Daryl

I’ve enjoyed all the trouble Rachel has gotten into, can hardly believe it’s coming to an end.

  239. Jessica L. D.

Did you know more vending machine accidents than shark attacks occur each year? Watch out, those cheeze-its could cost you more than you think.

  240. Valerie Schlang

    Can’t wait to read it!
Maybe Rachel won’t be so “in the public eye” anymore?? Hmmmm

  241. Niraja Pitts

It looks like Rachel is standing on a road that goes under a bridge. The gold could represent aura color? There are a lot of different analogies involving roads and bridges and auras that would fit both demons and the undead. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see!!

  242. Joy Rhiannon

Keep Searching for information on your next Series — Peri, must know more!

  243. Alex S.T

I’m both glad the wait for this book isn’t so long… and very sad. I hadn’t realized we were so close to the end. Apparently It’s been six years since I was given the first five books as a gift from a family friend who doesn’t reread books (the horror!)/

  244. Toni Treese

It will be sad to see the ending of the series but can not wait to see what is next for you!

  245. Lysette

The 24 hour period when I was reading Ever After, I read the part when it’s revealed that Cerri and Pierce died. Pierce wasn’t much to me but Cerri? That hurt. To lose her was a physical blow. I couldn’t sleep all night. I know a lot of Fans were sad to see Kisten go, but for some reason I felt the biggest connection to Cerri. Parts of my life, good and bad, there was some connection there.
I Love this series and re-read the books all the time. It will be sad to have it come to an end, but like all things, it must. The completion of a circle…
    Rhombus!

  246. LeAnne B

I am super excited about the last book and sad at the same time. The Hollows are my favorite books! You are just awesome, talented and you have a great relationship with your fans.. Thank you so much for sharing your world with us. πŸ™‚

  247. Meghan E

Not a big spaghetti westerns, but I do remember a song my mom used to play a lot called “Horse with no Name” and now I can’t get it out of my head!

  248. I love this series.. I really don’t want it to end..

  249. Rosa Flor

I would love to know the last piece! its tearing me apart reading everyone elseΒ΄s answer and having not read TUP, it kills me not to know every possiblity!!
I personally love your books, for all the magic they have, the characters are so REAL that if one day i go to Cinci, iΒ΄ll probably be looking for Vampiric Charms and the gang!!
I specially loved the relationship between Rachel and Ivy, and would love to read more about it.. not THIS relationship per sei, But another one with two giirls and magic and blood and EVERUTHING you so greatly write about.

    SPOILER
On another topic, i have to say i was a bit, just a bit, dissappointed about Ceri’s death. I was ripped of any chance of crying for her. Felt so anguished
i couldnt even be with her when it happened. Is there a short story to complete that part of the story, that wasnt inccluded on the book ? I know its not the greatest part, but i think we became so in love with her and i guess with pierce as well. They tryed to be heros and i couldnt even weep for them.
    END SPOILER

    I LOVE YOUR BOOKS KIM.
Cant wait to get ahold of TUP to eat it up in one day reading.
ANd now WWNN??? GREATEST TEN YEARs! This has to end with a BANG!! LOVE this series, will be on my shelves and in my heart for the entirety of my life. You can count on that

  250. Valerie

So my dad is a huge Clint Eastwood fan. We’ve decided that the title is from the “Dollars Trilogy” where Clint Eastwood portrays a “Man with no Name.” Am I close?

  251. Sarah Anderson

I’m going to be sad hen it’s over but I think it’s been an awesome run. My friends an I are going to join the pack soon!

  252. Kylie

I love your series and sad to see it end. But very excited for this book. Your books have drawn me in and made me cry in certain books. My mom, my brother and I always looked forward to reading and talking bout them. Thank you for such an enjoyable series.

  253. Jamie B

I will miss them all and am busy rereading the entire series in anticipation. I have two on audiobook in my car for commute and one on the nightstand.

  254. Trish A.

One of my sisters admits to dropping me on my head when I was really little. So it’s all her fault. πŸ˜‰

  255. kerri mckeithan

I was wondering why the inside picture of Rachel behind bars in A Perfect Blood has her tat on her shoulder instead of her neck. Mass market version. I’ve really enjoyed this whole series. I’m sad that its coming to an end. I hop your next series is in this same genre.

  256. It’s funny that you said about the name of this one. I was talking about it with my husband this morning. Him and I thought about the song “A Horse with No Name.” I said to him that goes again the Eastwood theme.

  257. mandy n.

Can’t wait for this book! so sad the series is ending but excited for whats next. Thanks for the awesome books!

  258. Cathy Wicks

I’m sad for the end of this wonderful series and will miss all of the people living in this world. But I look forward to your new work!

  259. Tina Knight

Thank you for writing such a great series. I’m really gonna miss these characters.

  260. Danica

Currently loving A Fistful of Charms on MP3 in my car. πŸ™‚ I’m so sad that this series is ending, but I’ve been loving it for a decade. πŸ™‚

  261. Tell you anything we want? Well, I could write sonnets about how much I love your books and how awesome it is to be able to meet you at your signings, but I’ll just say one quick line. “Kim Harrison, you totally freaking ROCK!” That is all πŸ™‚

  262. Holly Bartholomew

Even though I’m sad about this being the last book, I just wanted to thank you for the journey. For the last few years the characters and their struggles have grown on me… but Rach really hit home. I was born with a couple birth defects that still impact me today (and I’m 26 now)… and seeing a strong heroine say no and keep pushing to do what she wants… letting nothing or no one stop her… it’s helped me in ways I cannot possibly express in words. Thank you, again.

  263. Crystal F.

I cannot wait to read this book. This is one of my favorite series and I cannot wait to see what you come up with next. I have already taken the week this book is supposed to come out off. My husband had no clue why I wanted a week off in September lol
    Keep the great stories coming!

  264. Mollie F.

This has been a wonderful series. Many have a few sequels that don’t work out, but Rachel’s story never failed. I will be sad to see it go, but they will be books I can enjoy again and again.

  265. Jana B

Thanks for the series! I’ve loved every word of it!

  266. Tawnya Watson

    Love the series….what’s next?

  267. mlkbobe

I was told about your series by a guy at my local Wal-Mart. I was picking up a box of books I ordered, and looking at the genre, he recommended The Hollows. Its one of the best random recommendations I’ve ever gotten and I’m glad I looked into the series.

  268. Zuri Trammell

I really hope I win one of those t-shirts! πŸ™‚ Also, thanks for an awesome ride. The cool thing about books is you get to re-read them as often as you want, so even if it’s ending, it won’t ever be over, and I look forward to re-inmersing myself in the world of The Hollows for years to come πŸ™‚

  269. I love Clint’s movies, must be why I love your books — nah loved your books before I made the Eastwood connection. Going to miss everyone in the Hollows.

  270. Celeste Corp

I am so excited for this book to come out. But I’m very said the series is ending. I have no idea what’s going on on the cover but I’m ready to see the last piece. I’m sad we have to wait til Monday.

  271. It is sad to know that the hollows series is ending, but I do look forward to see what comes next πŸ˜€

  272. Krystyl H

Love your books, love the imagery. Makes me feel like I’m right there watching all of the action and comedy first hand. Hate to see it end 😦

  273. Tina

I’m going to be a little sad when the last book comes out. Sad to see my favorite series end. But I’m also looking forward to the last book to find out how it ends!

  274. Debbie Hiebert

Wow! Lots of comments! OK, well, I’m sad to see the series end…I think it’s totally UNNECESSARY!! So, kindly reconsider!! Go Jenks!

Oh, and I named 2 show pups Ivy & Kisten!

  275. It was pure chance that for me interested in your books, but I’m so glad it happened. I’m going to miss these books, but I love reading/listening to them over and over again.

  276. Elizabeth Seaton

I love this series and will be VERY disappointed when I finish this book ONLY because there sre no more coming. …sigh….will just have to re read.

  277. JoAnna Luney

I just want to say thank you for ten “magical” years of Hollows novels and it is sure going to “suck” now that they are at an end. (I also want to apologize for the puns. Lol. )

  278. Kelly Harrison

I just got my Nana into reading your books… I’m addicted, and I need someone to talk to about them! Thanks for writing. Your work is fantastic.

  279. Mary Moskwiak

Love the cover reveals! It seems to me that the white and gold show Rachel whole and light. She knows who she is and likes herself. Just my thoughts! :).

  280. Courtney J

I love the series and I’ll be sorry to see it end, but I am definitely looking forward to any new stories you have πŸ™‚

  281. Shannon S

As for the title, The Witch with No Name, I’m guessing it’s related Clint’s movie “Man with No Name.” Also, I just wanted to say thank you for writing such a wonderful series! I’ve had the BEST time reading The Hollows and I can even remember where I was when I read each book, LOL. I’m sad it’s coming to and end, but I’m excited to see what you write next! πŸ™‚

  282. susan beamon

I have enjoyed the series as much for the play on Eastwood movie titles as for the stories themselves. I am still eating tomatoes.

  283. Jess

Thank you for writing. Reading your books gives me great pleasure and while I’m sad the series is ending but I am looking forward to the next set of books.

  284. I love this series and am bummed to see if go. It is one of the only ones I have enjoyed beginning to end.

I would love the opportunity to meet you one day. Perhaps a trip to Dragoncon could be in your future πŸ™‚

  285. Nichole Epp

Excited to read the final book! Just bummed about the wait.

  286. Jennifer Vineyard

Thanks for such great entertainment! You have carried me through many long flights and I am sure the ending will be bittersweet! I am looking forward to your new projects and I know I will re-read this series again and again.

  287. I love the stories, thank you for writing them and it’s very bittersweet for it to be coming to an end. However I really can not wait to read what else you have to write and I hope Rachel and Trent have their happy ending.

  288. Aaron Jeffries

    I just wanna say thanks.

  289. Amanda

This series is what hooked my husband on reading. Thank you for doing that for him. We both look forward to rereading this series over and over as well as whatever comes in the future.

  290. Tricia Payne

I am so looking forward to The Witch With No Name!!! Hating to see the series end, but excited to see what you come up with next. Thanks Kim! You’re Awesome!

  291. Jeanne Misner

I’m so sad to see the end of this series coming so soon. These characters have become my family. I had finally talked my son into starting the series and he’s on the second book. I had to replace my copies of 1, 2 and 3 because of a flood, but I love that he was the first to “crack” the new copies open. I love your writing, Kim, and I will look forward to all of your new works. Peace and Blessings to you and yours.

  292. I’m hoping its a ring in the corner maybe trents pinky ring?

  293. Katy

Bummed to see the Hollows go. My favorite series!

  294. Christi Green

I’m sorry to see the series end, but at least I can read them over & over again.

  295. Jenilee Kasch

I’m going to miss new books for this series. Maybe some spin offs in the future?
Maybe Lucy as she gets older? One can hope. πŸ˜€ draw my ideas out.

  296. Janet H

As much as I have always wanted Rachel to be with Al I see that isn’t really the best option for her as he is abusive. But Trent isn’t exactly a sweetheart either. I am not sure I trust his changes in TUP and will be interested to see if they are true or if he goes back to the Trent who locked Rachel in a cage and put her in the rat fights. So sad for the series to end.

  297. I am probably totally wrong (and there isn’t really enough space), but it’d be nice to see Bis in the corner. I like that little guy!

Next week I’ll be in Iceland, attending a game con – starting the week with Manic Monday here would be quite fitting. If my jet-lagged brain manages to remember!

  298. Clint played The Man With No Name in For A Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

Love the title of this last book, and I can’t wait for the full cover reveal! I’ll miss this anticipation of new Hollows books, so much! Thank you for this wonderful series and the fabulous characters that you’ve created, we love them all!

Also, I hope there’s more Chapter 22-esque action in this book. *waggles eybrows*

  299. Sad it’s almost over! Any chance of a couple of shorts with the characters after its over? Maybe a crossover with whatever your new book series is? Just for fun, pretty please?

  300. Jadia Packard

Can’t wait for this new book…Looks like I am going to need to catch up on all the old ones…I have read all but the last three I think. I am so excited though, When are you putting up the tour t-shirts and the tour dates?

  301. I read Dead Witch Walking when it first came out and have been a fan of your writing ever since. Thank you for this wonderful series!

  302. Anita C.

Is there any chance that the Hollows will end up as a TV series? Or even movies? And if so, who would you envision playing your lead characters?

  303. Jody Harkavy

I am sorry this series is ending. I have loved the ride!! Can’t wait to see what you have for us next πŸ™‚

  304. Kristina

While I hate waiting for the next book, I’m also dreading finishing it. I do not want it to end. Love the cover.

  305. I love love love these books! I think the final element will be Elvin. I hope I’m not wrong!

  306. Suzie

Just finished reading the newest book, and I can’t wait for September!!

  307. briony hall

Wow the series seems to have flown for me as i only started them last year and even though i hate hate hate waiting for good books to come out! I half wish i had started this series earlier just so it lasted longer for me. Loved rachel, trent, kisten, jenks and al πŸ™‚

  308. Melissa Parker

I’m excited for the book release! The cover looks great!

  309. I love love these books abd I think the cover is going to have an Elvin element. Hope I’m not wrong!

  310. Brian Pawlowski

I don’t want this series to end! Noooooo! This is the first set of fiction I have read by choice.

  311. Rachel B.

Thank you for working so hard to write such great stories that linger long after you close the book. I also have to say after having the pleasure of meeting you on your last tour that you are such a warm person. There are different types of authors; some you meet and you still like their books despite them, some that don’t change anything and the rare ones like you who actually make you like their books more πŸ™‚ You are very firmly in that last category.

  312. Wow so hard to think this series is coming to a close! I can’t tell you how much the hollows series helped me. I discovered your books during my husbands 1st deployment I would read at night when I felt the most lonely….Im gonna be crying like a super baby on this last book. Thankyou for what you do!

  313. Katherine J.

I’ve been reading about Rachel and the Hollows since almost the very beginning, and I can’t wait to see how it ends. Thank you for writing characters I could grow with.

  314. Kell Burgess

I’m really looking forward to this book! Thanks for a great “can read it over and over” series!

  315. Melicent Stossel

I am so excited for this book! Thank you for releasing it early!

  316. I have loved this series from day one. I was wondering, now that it is ending would you revisit the Truth series? Either way I can’t wait to see what you are cooking up next!

  317. Tom W.

Just a Thanks’ to you, and one to Guy for being your backup.

  318. Ruth Eller-Belote

I’m trying to make The Undead Pool last and am failing! Will finish tonight after work. This is a guess but how about “High Plains Drifter”?

  319. Brook Rayworth

Thank you Kim for such an entertaining series.

  320. Patricia OBrien

Sad to see this series end!! But also excited to see whats in store with other new characters. Thanks for taking us along for this spectacular ride!!

  321. goldgrl7

Looks like Rachel’s back at Eden Park doing some magic. Very cool cover idea. How far she’s come since Dead Witch Walking!

  322. Heather Ann Dixon

It still looks like Sharps’s bridge to me but I can’t wait until Monday. So glad I am off Mondays so I can read all this deliciousness and have recoup time.

  323. I’ve just recently found this series as audiobooks and am loving it! I started in the middle (White Witch, Black Curse…it was a gift), but am now going through them from the beginning. Love love LOVE these books!!

  324. Erin

    I can’t wait!!!

  325. trudy

Do not want The Hollows to end…. 😦 Still miss Kisten every day…. and no more Jenks, Rachel, Al and Trent is sooooo gonna suck Tink’s Dildo! LOVE YOU!!!!! πŸ™‚

  326. Jamie Phillips

I’m almost done with collecting and reading all the short story books. I’m hoping to finish all of them before this last book comes out.

  327. Jax Pierson

I love this series, and although I am sad to see it end (no more new adventures with Rachel and Trent and JENKS!), I am ridiculously excited to read the final book. Thank you so much for writing characters that I just can’t get enough of. They are wonderful! πŸ™‚ ❀ ❀

  328. Elizabeth

When Kisten died I thought that I knew sadness in the Hollows, I realize now that the ending of my time with Rachel, Jenks, Trent and Al is going to be true sorrow. I will miss your characters that I have come to love, but I know I can count on you for a spectacular ending, even if it is not exactly a HEA.
Thank you for the laugh out loud moments, my new love of fairies and appreciation of “Tink is a Disney whore”, and the affirmation that even though life is not always perfect it can still be unexpectedly awesome.

  329. tammie williams

I have been hooked on this series. I Ferrell like all of the characters are friends and neighbors. I can’t wait for the book to be released at the same time I am sad to see the end is so close. Hopefully there will be a spin offcoming with the Rosewood babies. And btw is the witch with no name one of them?

  330. When I seen the title to this book it kind of sounded right, but not really. I actually had to look it up. Once I seen what it was, it made so much sense to me. It was like, oh yes, I see! Perfect. My daughter just shook her head. I really can’t wait to read this.

  331. Rachael Harrison

Still hoping this Rachael wins a prize pack! I was destined to read this series. Being Rachael Harrison and all… Thanks for being one of my favorite authors! I’m glad I got to meet you at Nichola’s Books!

  332. Jennifer

Hmmm, just throwing out random ideas here, but since Rachael can control elf magic to an extent, I think it will be something to do with that.

  333. Natasha F

Thank you for the great books. Can’t wait for Rachel’s happy ending.

  334. Rachel’s pinky ring has inspired me to create a line of specialty pinky rings for my jewelry.
And I still wish Kisten was with her. I miss those scenes she had with him. The bond they formed.

  335. I can’t wait for this book!

  336. Jessica R.

I think I’m going to re-read before final book release. I have been putting it off because Kisten’s death hits me so hard I end up in a funk for a week. But with the last book coming out I think it’s time.

  337. tuchbike

I’m making the connection back to music as well and wondering about Rachel going into the “desert”. It has been a wonderful series – one that has made me laugh and cry. I still think there needs to be a t-shirt with the best one liners. My favorite would still be… “Well, where do you put your elven magic?”

  338. This is one of the few series that I can read over and over. Thank you for never ‘jumping the shark’!

  339. pmelissa canterberry

i think it is the movie high planes drifter that you got this title from. i have enjoyed your series, thank you.

  340. Valerie Edwards

I will be happy and sad come September and eagerly awaiting Al’s POV short. Any ideas when Peri will be released?

  341. Clarissa C.

Thank you for such a great series, and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!

  342. Angelene

I’m not sure what they last corner is going to reveal but I have my theory about the gold. In the beginning it was as said that Rachel had a gold aura, something rare since I remember people mentioning they’ve never seen it before. And the fact that she is called a witch and not a demon I haven’t put together but I feel it’s significant. I can’t wait to find out what happens! But it also makes me sad that there won’t be any more adventures with Rachel after this last book. =(

  343. kaerienstjohn

I’d love for you to come to Madison, WI on this tour. I’m moving there in a few days.

  344. Valerie Varner

I am loving the cover so far. Can’t wait to see the whole thing…!

  345. Lacey R.

I will be sad for it to end, but glad it is ending purposefully. And Al should totally be on the cover.

  346. Pam M

What a great distraction for me! I am so not into writing this research paper … I would much rather be reading one of your books!!!!! I can’t believe this will be the last in the series! Thank goodness I have them all to read over and over again!!!!!!

  347. Samantha

Almost 10 years!! That… Does not make sense. It feels like it was only yesterday. Kim, do you think you’ll still write short stories of our favorite characters (like Jenks) after the end of the series?

  348. Jessica R.

My son will be born right before the release date. I have a feeling its going to take me a little longer to get through this last book.

  349. Jaimi B

I love series novels and the Hollows have been one of my favorites! πŸ™‚ I am sad to know that the series is ending but glad I have all the books to re-read anytime I want to! You and Laurell K Hamilton are my top two favorite authors. I look forward to seeing what other stories you spin upon your web of creativity in the coming years Kim! πŸ™‚ Thank you for sharing your talent and bringing us into the alternate worlds you have created!! Blessed be!!!

  350. Bob Weis

I was introduced to the Hollows series by a female acquaintance who knew I enjoyed fantasy novels with female protagonists. I read Dead Witch Walking and was hooked. I always enjoyed the clever twists on Clint Eastwood titles for the titles of the books. To end the series with a book title that pays homage to the “name” of the character Eastwood played in the spaghetti westerns that started his film career is brilliant. The end is the beginning. Thanks for creating a wonderful cast of characters and engaging world. Looking forward to your next project!

  351. purrfectkatus

So what are we supposed to read while we are waiting for Peri to arrive?

  352. Kelly Johnson

This series rekindled my love of reading with the Urban Fantasy genre. I have two tattoos for it and I’m sure I’ll get a third at some point.

  353. Laura Boyer

I’m going to re read the whole series over the summer. Could the last corner of the book, reveal the next book(s) in your head? Does The Witch with no name introduce an new character?

  354. Georgene Danjanic

The cover looks fantastic. I am so ready for Monday to get here so I can dive into the first 2 chapters! )

  355. Theresa Schwiethale

I have to say to say I’m not looking forward to finishing the next book. It makes me sad that it’s the last one. I’m going to have a big empty space where the Hollows used to be. 😦

  356. Bud Duncan

I really enjoy these book and am sad that the series is ending but I do wish Ceri had lived. Pierce I never really cared for except in BMS.

  357. misslyssmck

Your characters are so “real” – flawed and growing as individuas. Not just getting more powerful or stronger. They have gone through a lot of set backs and changes that have forced them to some self discovery and growth. It’s a rare thing in fantasy fiction, and it inspires me to be a better writer. Thank you.

  358. Deborah Metheny

I will be sads when I read this final book in this series but i will be looking forward to your next one.

  359. Lynne

I only found your books a year or so again, and read as rapidly as I could. To find now that the series is ending is a real disappointment but, like many others, I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us next. Your character development is a delight. I feel as if I know these people and I will be losing friends.

  360. Leslie

A Man with No Name – Dollars Trilogy

  361. paula bibbee

I have so loved these books . I am looking forward to reading your new ones. Please keep writing. Thank you for the wonderful hours of seeing though Rachel’s eyes.

  362. I found Dead Witch Walking right out of High School, and over the last 9 years I feel like I’ve grown into adulthood with Rachel and her crew. I am so sad to see this series end but I can’t thank you enough for the awesome ride it’s been.

  363. styrch

It’s so funny, but now that the series is ending I feel like it’s rushed. We have so much to explore now. On the other hand, I’m secretly hoping Rachel ends up becoming a Goddess.

  364. Ashley

    Hey, Kim
So I have always wanted Rachel to restore the ever-after, bring it back to its former livable state. & since the last book, I was hoping Trent & Rache would make a little inter species elf demon to unite the two species (like Al tried), you know since she was genetically changed by an elf! I love these books! They’re my favorite. Thank you.

  365. Dawn Spaulding

I just discovered the Hollows series this year and am completely caught up and waiting for the final installment. I love the woman Rachel has grown up to be. Could the bottom right corner have anything to do with the scrying mirror? Hmmm. Looking forward, as usual, to more of your writing.

  366. The Man With No Name – A bounty hunter! πŸ™‚ Quite stoic in his youth.
Who later in life talks to chairs….

  367. Brianna M.

I accidentally found this series while looking for something to read on vacation and have been in love with it ever since. Thank you so much for being a fantastic writer!

  368. Ashley Miller

I’m sad to see the series ending, but in this reader’s eyes, you’ve done it so much justice!!! The Hollows is consistently wonderful, and I can’t wait to see what you have coming up next! I’ll definitely be a Kim Harrison/Dawn Cook reader for life. πŸ™‚

  369. B Wolf

So much I want to say. But it all comes down to, Thanks! Thanks for sharing this world with us. It’s been a fun ride. And I will enjoy it for years to come. I love re-reading great series.

  370. Holly Ellingwood

It feels like the end of an era and I suppose it is. It’s bittersweet, at least for this reader. Loved the series. Sadly I don’t knwo the where the title for The Witch Wit No Name comes from.

    • Holly Ellingwood

Sorry for the typos! that should have been “know” instead of ‘knwo” and “With” instead of “Wit”. That teaches me not to post while I’m working I suppose =)

  371. Well… I think the title is Eastwoods… “Man with no name”? I think… but I wanted ask you a question… I love to quilt and have been doing that for a very long time and would love to take all your books and put them into a quilt. What would you like to see in the quilt? I was thinking of about 20 blocks at about 14inches I would love to put on the titles of all the books plus appliques of things like Rachel’s charm bracelet… Ivy’s cross she gave to Ceri…. and I would have to put in something for Big Al… maybe his can and glasses? What is important for you to see in it? Oh and please tell me that Big Al is back!!!

  372. Allison K

I’m at work and very hungry. I can’t wait for lunch…and for the next book!

  373. mudepoz

Nope. Uh uh. Not reading those chapters until the book is out. Nope Nope Nope….AGGGGH! *Heads over to read.*

  374. Amber Brown

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book series!! It has been a wonderful reading journey! To see Rachel, Jinks, Ivy, Trent, Al, & all the other characters grow! I’m very sad to see The Hallows come to an end. But at the same time I can’t wait to see everything come to an end. Like what ever happen to her neighbor Mr. KEELSY?? And does she finally find a way to save Ivy’s soul? Will she fix the ever after? All these questions! And I can’t wait to be able to read all of these books again non-stop too reach the end! THANK YOU Ms. HARRISON for this wonderful story! You are truly a magnificent Author!!!

  375. Danielle Ott

I’ve been reading The Hollows for the past 10 years; thank you so much for Rachel, Ivy, Jenks, and the entire motley cast. I’ve caught myself thinking, more than once, “what would Rachel do in this situation?” I will truly miss the Hollows series but cannot wait to see what your next work will entail. Best of luck, and thank you.

  376. Jacquline Hartman

I am struggling to wait until July to reread the series!

  377. Trudy

I am going to be sad when this series end. I have come to really like Trent.

  378. I love your books, I listen to them over and over and over again! I have so enjoyed reading your insights into the books as you reread them with us. I am making it a point to find you for the last book tour, maybe you would come to Illinois? Hint, Hint!

  379. I just want to say I really have loved your books on Rachel… It has really helped inspire me and my writing… I find it also ironic that my favorite character also has the same name as my little girl, Ivy πŸ™‚ Thank you for bringing reading joy to so many!!! πŸ™‚

  380. Joanna D

The Hollows series has been my absolute favorite read and I am sad to see it end, on the other hand I am also elated that Trent, Rachel, and Ivy have all found love! I can not wait until September, hmm, I wonder what I’ll do with my over active imagination until then?! You’re one helluva writer Kim, completely captivating your audience since day one! I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

  381. Kelly Lewis

I’m very sad to see the series ending. I’ve cried and laughed right along with Rachel through the years. I still recommend it to everyone looking for a new series. I love how this is one of the most believable of the supernatural that I’ve read. I can only hope it is a spectacular ending you have in store for us! πŸ˜€

  382. Shannon

I’ve started at the beginning to reread everything up to the last book. So its all fresh in my mind. Can’t wait to get my grubby little hands on it. PS the cover is looking awesome.

  383. Mitchell Brashier

Hate to see the series end, but cannot wait to see what you have for us next.

  384. Selena C

I can’t wait to see how Rachel’s story ends. Love your books.

  385. Awesome cover, looking forward to the final reveal. I thought of a couple guesses but none of them sound plausible, Alas, I am not a creative person. Glad you are!

  386. Sue Mac

I have loved this series and am sad that it is ending, but I am very excited to see what you will be coming out with next! Thank you for the years of great reading that you have given me πŸ™‚

  387. Elena

I love this series and these characters will stay with me forever. Thank you for sharing it with us!

  388. Jennifer Muise

Excited but sad for the final book in the series. I very rarely reread a book but I think this will be a series I reread again + again. Not ready to say goodbye to all the wonderful characters.

  389. Peggy Ricks

There’s nothing else to say except how much I love this series, the characters, all of it. I’m going to be sad when it’s over.

  390. Brenda M

I can’t believe my luck to be one of your fans. You have to be the most involved, hands on appreciative author out there. It’s like Christmas all the time for us. Thank you.

  391. I only found this series a year or two ago, but I’ve read the entire series now and can’t wait for the next installment! I’ll miss it when it’s over, but I’ll savor every minute of the last book!

  392. Evelyn Mitchell

I am so not ready to leave this series yet. I just finished The Undead Pool this past Sunday and I’ve been walking around in a fugue state because I can’t cope with being done with that world for now. It’s going to be even worse after the last book. UGH. How am I gonna do this? The only solution is to include a complementary stay at Imaginary World Rehab with every copy of The Witch With No Name.

  393. angie Menold

I love your books. I never really liked reading because I could never really get into any books. Since I started your series I can not stop. I love all of the Hallows books. They opened my eyes to reading again. You are so great at what you do. I am sad that they are ending because I always look forward to you putting out another Hallows book. I am sure whatever lies ahead for you and us readers will be great. I have even reread this series. I can not get enough. Thank you for such a great series!!

  394. The last few books in this series have been fantastic. They were all good, but I feel like I have been counting the seconds till the release of the last 3. I am so sad to see it end.

  395. Denise

I can’t believe that this series is almost over. If you ever get a feeling to write a short hollows story about Lucy and Rae all grown up, I will read it!

    And I like the title
Witch With No Name = Man With No Name

Very fitting to have the last title about Clint Eastwood’s very famous character.

  396. Nadine Cabrera

I am really loving the way the cover to the last book is coming out! It definitely is different from the rest which is a good thing because this is the last book to the series so it should totally stand out. I loved this series so much and even though I am going to be sad once it ends, I am looking forward to what you have in store for us next!

  397. Tammy Dinger

I am not happy the series is ending! Yet at the same time I can’t wait to read the final book

  398. I love this series. I’m sad to see it end, but I know it will be awesome!

  399. Leslie D.

I love all your work! & will read whatever you release in the future!

  400. caressa brandenburg

I have so loved your series and look forward to your future ones. And maybe a visit back to the Hallows every once in a while πŸ™‚

  401. Meeting you in person is still one of my favorite moments from this year (probably even ever) and I totally have ideas about the title. But what I really want to ponder on is the cover image. I didn’t look closely at the background until now but I think it’s a little like the amber desert the outskirts of the Ever After are described as appearing like & the gold would definitely make sense then, both for the desert and Rachel’s magic. (Plus is that lightning coming from her hand?) So maybe the bridge is the Hollows appearing into the Ever After, finally connecting them.

  402. Rin Ashton

I honestly don’t know how to feel now that it’s about to end. Just like everything in their lives Rachael, Ivy, and Jenks aren’t perfect and neither will their endings be. And I’m totally ok with that. You see their team has had to learn over these past few years how to really roll with the punches and be grateful for the victories you get, even if they weren’t the ones you were originally hoping for.

However I do have my concerns about widgets going to happen to one of the most important characters to the book: Jenks. He has come to rely on the comfort both Rachael and ivy bring after all he’s been through and him slowly losing his children as they mature and move along. I just have to wonder what happy ending will Jenks receive when those he cares about are what embodies it?

  403. Crystal Quiroz

    Please let me win!

  404. Claudia

The end of the series is coming faster than I thought! I was always like, “there are still a few more books left”, but now, there is only one more book left. I feel sad about the series ending, but I’m also looking forward to what will come next.

  405. LaToya Kirby

I’m so sad and probably going to be in a deep depressed state after the FINAL book. *tear* But just more a of a reason to start over and reread everything!! You’re still one of my top favorite writers! ^.^

  406. Mumsy Baker

Well, that blows my theory that you were teasing out the next series with song lyrics. The Hollows series is my go-to when the day has been rough. I can forget what’s going on and lose myself in Rachel’s world.

  407. Mary Cofrancesco

Rachel has been an awesome ride, can’t wait to see what you come up with next! Thanks so much! πŸ™‚

  408. Krista Martin

I don’t need a prompt. Quite simply, I love the Hollows series. I am so, so sad to see this series end, but luckily I love to read books more than once so that should cover me for a while. In the meantime, I look forward to whatever you have coming up next. You are an amazing writer, and I love your character development. I am completely in love with your brain! I know the contest is completely random, but this would be an amazing birthday gift (which happens to be Sunday)!

  409. I’m going to be Lost without having the hollows to look forward to every spring!!!

  410. April Bruno

    Hi Kim,
I just wanted to thank you for doing what you do. I’m a somewhat emotionally closed person but the Hallows series has made me laugh out loud, cry like a baby (when Mati died amongst many) and even yell out “Oh Sh*t!” a time or two. Thank you so much for this incredible journey and I am sad to see it end.

  411. Thomas

This is something I’ve wondered for a while, and I’m sure it’s been asked over and over again. If it was up to you Kim, and a movie was being mad, who would you chose to play your characters? Rachel, Ivy, Trent a digitally shrunk Jenks. I think it would be cool to know your preferences.

  412. julia

This has been my absolute favorite series for the last two years, and I am going to be so bummed when it’s over. I will say I would have liked to see more David.

  413. J.M.Y.

Will I cry during this book? I’ts so sad the series is nding.

  414. Jenn Reynolds

I just started the series over again so I can formulate my theories for the last book. I have a few – so we’ll see. I’m going to miss this series a lot!

  415. Donna

Love these books. I will miss this series but am looking forward to what ever you write next. I know it will be great!!!

  416. Michael

I’m both excited and saddened about the last book. I’m going to need a box of tissues and bottle of chocolate wine to make it thru.

  417. My wife and I have been in St. Charles IL this week and are now traveling west on I-80 to CA. We are enjoying the reveal and comments by other readers. We hope to see you in Sept.

  418. melanie ables

Love this series! When I read that it is ending, I cried. Lol my 13 year old thought someone died. (I was a little over emotional at the time)

  419. I suppose I need to catch up on the series. I stalled out after finishing For a Few Demons More. Yet the only books I don’t own are the last three.

  420. Heidi gilbertson

I love it and I knew she would have sparks at her fingertips! That is her weapon after all. Maybe Trent or Al is in the distance? So sad this is the last one but I am excited to read it!

  421. As much as I LOVE your books I’m really glad I didn’t find them sooner. I hate waiting on book release dates and the last 2 books are killing me with suspense…but I still wish the series would just go on forever and make me wait on each book if needed.

  422. Chelle D

Let’s see gold and white background with what could be called “lightening/electricity” magical arcs coming out of Rachel’s fingers. We know she is a demon and the ever after is shifting. I think Rachel is the catalyst for the worlds merging. After all Rachel is one of a kind and very savvy, that being said she is capable of of making the worlds do what she wants.

  423. Susan OC

Clint’s character in the Sergei Leone movies was also known as the man with no name. I have loved the spaghetti western references from the beginning. Like more than a few of the readers I hope that Rachel finds a way to save Ivy.

  424. Dawn Moore

Please tell me that it’s something to do with Al’s aura being gold!! Does Rachel save Ivy’s soul and learn how to et rid of the smut? I feel like she is soooo close to the solution to both but is missing just an little thing to turn on the light bulb! It’s killing me!

  425. Sam overland

I’m excited for the next book but sad the series is ending. It’s like loosing a friend

  426. I have really enjoyed reading this series even if I was a little confused by reading the first 3 books in reverse order. As for the title I believe “the man with no name” is a reference to the character played by Clint Eastwood in a number of the movies that donated titles to the other books.
I look forward to seeing where you take us next.

  427. Mary Gasiewski

I don’t have an answer for the Clint Eastwood question As I am good movies deprived, but I can tell you something random: our local animal shelter has named pets after your characters. Matalina, Jenks, Rachel, Trent, Ceridwen, Ivy and Kisten:)

  428. Amanda M.

Love the Hollows!! I’ll miss reading when its done! Jenks is my favorite!

  429. THANK YOU for creating an interesting, funny, female led series that gives so much joy to readers. Shitty day at work? Its cool, because I’m spending my lunch break with Rachel, Ivy and Jenks. You’ve dreamt up such beloved characters, I hope that some day they are done well on the big screen….and hopefully one day, this actress will get a shot at auditioning. Have a fantastic weekend!

  430. James Knoke

We loved these books, and are sad to see an end, and we hope it’s a happy one, and if not happy at least a good one. Thank you for putting so much of yourself into these books for us. It’s been an amazing ride and I can’t wait for the end.

  431. Daniel M

yeah the man with no name

  432. Jill Greene

All good things must come to an end. This has been one of my favorite series. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store!

  433. jean

I really enjoyed this series. Jenks is one of my favorite characters. Very few books I like to reread but this series I’ve reread numerous times. I can not wait for this next book. And I will miss not having any more new books to read with these characters. πŸ™‚

  434. Really different cover with that white background and the bright yellow. That’s not Rachel walking into the “light” is it?

    Anne

  435. Jonathan Ashmore

It looks like bridge to the hallows.

  436. Donny navarro

Soo sad to see this series end 😦

  437. tolee porta

I love all your writing. Sad this one is ending but look forward to your future works as well.

  438. Alex H.

I’ve truly enjoyed this series and can’t wait for the final book. I also like the title connection to The Man With No Name.

  439. Corina

I just re-read Dead Witch Walking and it really struck me how much the characters have grown. As much as I love Trent now, he really was a jerk at the beginning!! Thank you for the countless hours of enjoyment, and I cannot wait to see how this ends!

  440. Norita Rico

The man with no name πŸ™‚

I am really going to miss this series! I hope there is a spinoff on the Hollows universe or maybe novellas every once in a while with little updates and
Tidbits in how everyone is fairing. Yet I am also excited to see what else you bring us because you are a talented author! You are the only author that made me cry like a baby when Kisten passed.

  441. Tracey Capello

Love the books and the ART!

  442. Amanda A

I can’t wait to read this book! And yet, I’m so sad to read it as well. Thank you so much for writing these books and giving all your fans something to look forward to!

  443. Heather D. Gillman

Ill be so sad to see Rachel’s story end, but im so excited for the last book. The cover looks as if she’ll be facing off in a duel with someone.

  444. Love the cover! And I can definitely tell that it’s the Eden Park Bridge, where Al’s Ley Line is. So excited!

It’s so bittersweet that the series is ending I got into it last year and have since re-read the entire series several times. *Sigh* It was quite and adventure. Thank you for taking us to this lovely journey.

  445. Sue H.

Your books made my transition to Cincinnati more fun. I’d make small references about the series to friends here, and it actually got some of my buddies to read your books as well! Thank you for writing this magnificent series!

  446. I don’t believe she is holding “someone’s” hand. I think she is holding a bunch of “chains/caged photos” that tie her to the different people that matter to her.

  447. I want Rachel and Trent to have a baby sooo bad!! There has to be a fluke and she gets pregnant with twins. Ones a demon and ones fae!!! That would be awesome!! I cant wait to read it!! but will probably cry after its over!

  448. Andreah

I know I am behind because I just started the series and only on book 3. However, I plan to have a Hollows reading year in that I finish them before the last one comes out. Also, I am working on my own novel. Right now I am going through my first round of edits. You’ve been such an inspiration, Kim! I hope to be published someday!

  449. Anytime I find out someone is interested in urban fantasy, this series is my go-to recommendation. Love the characters and will sorely miss them!

  450. Jennifer Roy

Your books make it hard for me to read others after. You can always tell when something really resonates with you when you are unwilling to pick up another book or series for a while, because you want to savor the feeling of being in the world you just finished.

  451. Jenah

I know this is a weird connection, but every time I see the title, I think of the song Horse with No Name (by a 70’s band called America). Something fundamentally shifted in Rachel and Trent’s relationship during their cross country journey. The lyrics to the song also create some cool images of both the Ever After and Rachel’s personal journey. Now if I can just get the tune out of my head…..

  452. Dean Williams

I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me Kim Harrison and The Hollows or give me death!

  453. rinib

Something about the man with no name but cannot remember which movie. Sad that the series is ending – it was quite a ride …

  454. Aldeanna Donald

I am really sad to know that this is the last Hollows book. No more Jenks, no more Trent and lastly no more Al. Oh, whatever shall I do?

  455. I absolutely adore this series and will be horrified if it’s really ending.

As for the naming of the books- I believe they follow along with the Dollars Trilogy western movies starring Clint Eastwood, who is the character with no name.

Fistful of Dollars= A Fistful of Charms
For a Few Dollars More= For a Few Demons More
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly= The Good, the Bad, and the Undead

  456. Kristi

One day while in the park, I watched as a man was throwing a Frisbee. I then began to ponder how objects get larger as they get closer. Then it hit me.

  457. Rachel’s story is one of my all time favorite series! I am beyond excited for the final book to come out but I am hoping you revisit the Hollows for us, there are so many characters that you have given such depth to! Maybe a telling of Rachel’s Mother’s point of view during the Turn? Maybe the Elves’ and Al’s saga during the war? Either way thank you so much for sharing your characters with us!

  458. Kristin Engel

Love love love your books can’t wait for the last one!

  459. trish ely

Very excited to read the last of the Hallows ( hopefully someday you will revisit them)interested to see what You have for us next

  460. Wilmarie Rivera

Would it be possible to still see glimpses of the Hollows in shorts from other characters’ points of view?

  461. I’m so excited to read The Witch With No Name earlier than I expected but so sad that this is going to be the end. Can’t wait to read it!!!

  462. Jessica McGuire

I met you once at the romantic times convention when it was in Daytona,fl. This was maybe 7 or 8 years ago now and I think DWW was the only one out but I was hooked. You signed my book and it has been a coveted part of my bookshelf ever since! I have a 2nd copy to read and bend and that one to keep nice. Thanks for a story that I will cherish forever.

  463. Kristen Rowinsky

Love this series….sad to see it end but excited for the last book. Also looking forward to more writing from you!

  464. Tim B

Can’t wait to read this next book, then I can continue my hunt for a hardcover copy of Fistful of Charms!! πŸ™‚

  465. Kate Brandt

“Man with no Name” actually had a couple names. He was called Joe by an undertaker, called Manco for one armed man or something, and I most remember him as Blondie form “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.” Frankly I usually first start singing “Horse with no name” when I hear the Spaghetti Western title.
I’m nervous to see how the series ends, mainly because I don’t want it to end. I’m sure it’ll be one of your best, which means a bitter sweet feeling for me. … does it have to end?

  466. I am sad that the series is ending. Like parting ways with a good friend, or losing some one near and dear to me. I’ve grown to know these characters, I’ve followed them for years, and now it’s ending. While it saddens me to see the end coming, I am very excited to see HOW they will leave us. How will Rachael’s happy ending come? Ivy? Jenks? Trent?? It’s something I look very forward to reading. One last adventure with them. But the best part is, even though it is all coming to an end, I can go back and visit them anytime I want! πŸ˜‰

Thank you Kim for this outstanding series. I can not wait to see what else you have in store for us!!! πŸ™‚

  467. Donna Becker

So sorry to see the end of DWW but I am quivering in anticipation for the new book!

  468. Raychell

The man with no name was the theme from the early Clint Eastwood movies, A Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly – which are movies that were used as basis for titles of Hallows books. As to the cover, all that lovely yellowish light, EverAfter? Likely.. but a big bad coming back – not sure who/what that could be. And did we ever figure out what Newt was looking for in Rachel’s closet? Was it missing mystics and newt just had the timing all wrong?

    • I find it interesting where she is πŸ™‚ it’s a little hard to tell unless you look for it, but just below all that lovely gold is a bridge. Maybe the bridge in the park?? Very exited!!!

  469. Stacey

    I still miss Kisten.

  470. Wendy j

I’m currently re-reading a good old stand-by while waiting for this book. Had a hankering for some Dune!

  471. Clayton E Lovelace

The Man With No Name is what Clint’s character was referred to in the trio of westerns, A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

  472. Charles Criss

Can’t believe the series is almost over. So glad I stumbled on to Dead Witch Walking. Has been enjoyable reads

  473. This is so bitter-sweet. Bitter because it’s an ending, sweet because we get another one so soon.

  474. Tiffany

The book titles that are like Clint Eastwood movies are : The Good, The bad, and the Ugly
    The Outlaw Jose Wales
    A Fistful of Dollar’s
    For a Few Dollar’s More
    Pale Rider
    Every which Way but Loose
    White Hunter , Black Heart
    The Dead Pool
The new title sounds like the song ” Horse with no Name .

  475. Brenda Allen

This series helped me through some tough times as well. It’s an end of an era in my house. Sort of like the Harry Potter books. Kids are now grown and new adventures await though I am not sure I am ready for the next step. Thank you for helping me forget the crap my life was for awhile. The quality of your writing enable me to escape if only for a little while.

  476. Lindsy B.

Title is based on the Clint Eastwood character known as “The Man with No Name” who was featured in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (among others)!

  477. Jenny Wallace

What am I going to read now that your series is coming to an end? I will miss Rachel and everyone so much.

  478. I just wanted to say that anytime I need a go to book pick me up I read this series. Jenks is still one of my favorite characters ever!

  479. Misty Woolley

Kim, since you’re breaking our hearts and ending the series (kidding), can we start the lobbying on Al and Jenks spin off books? Maybe even Newt’s back story?

  480. Angela Hurst

I want to say you are one of the reasons I spend hours in the book store! I say thank you and husband says stop it. He is just silly.

  481. Such a good series. After this one comes out, I think I’ll have to reread all from start to finish!

  482. amanda

Best series I’ve ever read. Thank you for writing this series.

  483. Chris Bradford

Jenks rules he needs a series of his own

  484. Hopefully she’ll find the right spell to fix Ivy’s soul, will also be able to completely fix the ever after, marry Trent, and someday write a follow up book with the two little girls when they are older (with all the main characters helping them from the sidelines). Just love this series.

  485. Susan Blakeney

I just want to say a great big Thank you! I love your work and not just the Hollows series(I’ve readyour work from the beginning) and I’m very much looking forward to Peri and beyond πŸ™‚

  486. leah panton

I’m so sad about the series ending. Can’t wait to see what you have coming next.

  487. Looks I need to get on that re-read before Sept.

  488. Suprdink

Not seeing the connection with the first book cover, but I know you have sneaky plans!

  489. Danniell Hampton

    I love your books

  490. This title makes me think of the song “a horse with no name” . Lol

  491. Cyndy Vaughn

I am sad that this seies is coming to an end but look forward to reading more of your work in the future..

  492. Amanda Griffin

I have enjoyed all the Hollows books hate to see it end

  493. MLP Hamlin

As just about everyone has expressed, I am disappointed that the series is ending, but I am very much looking forward to what you have coming next! You have a gift and you’ve inspired me to pick up my pen again (well…the laptop anyway). Thanks!

  494. kimberly a howard

Clint Eastwood was the man with name inn the dollars trilogy. He had a different nickname in each.

  495. Brenda R.

Great cover! I’ll miss Jenks the most when the series ends. I adore him! πŸ™‚

  496. I have loved all the books!!! What made you decide to kill Kisten and why?

  497. Your books are always an automatic purchase for me. I’m eagerly anticipating the conclusion of a wonderful series!

  498. Kirs P

My wife hadn’t read any of the Hallows books until this year. Now she’s caught up with me, and we’re waiting on this next one!

  499. Jessica

I love Newt. Yes, she’s scary but wow it was nice getting some more of her background. I’m actually hoping Al reconsiders which is crazy since I started off hating him. Would love to see this series hit the screen, but with a few exceptions the TV and movie industry really likes to screw up great adaptations.

  500. Jilli Rulo

I’m hoping it’s a joke that this really isn’t the last book I will miss every character . You have brought them more to life then any book I have read.

  501. John Arden

Can’t wait for this book to come out but roll be sad to see the series end… *sad face*

The title sounds like something from a strong or fairy tale but it’s source eludes me…. it seems to hint that Rachel will cut her ties with demons, or at least erase her summoning name πŸ˜‰

  502. Karen Johnson

A man with no name is a character Clint Eastwood played. I love your books. Wish the series wasn’t ending.

  503. staci miller

I will miss this series, but look forward to whaterver you bring us next! Thanks for the ride it has been a great one. Crap on toast, Tink’s titties, is it really almost over! 😦

  504. Greg White

I love your books and I am going to be sad to see the Hallows saga come to an end. Looking forward to reading your next venture.

  505. heartofheather

September can’t get her fast enough, but it will also be here too soon. This series has pulled me through some dark moments and I hate to see it end.

  506. Nicole C

I don’t know what I’ll do with myself when this series is over. But I’m excited to see where it goes before it’s over.

  507. Holly Kehl

I am so sad to see the series ending!

  508. Jaime

I really like this series. You are very talented. I remember buying your first book in the series. I was looking for a new author and your “H” was right next to my favorite author at the time Laurell K Hamilton. The picture on the cover and the cool name attracted me and I bought it. Dead Witch Walking introduced me to this awesome world and characters I would grow to love. I still cannot look at a tomato the same. I will forever be a fan and thank you for writing these stories.

  509. Brandi

Soooo looking forward to reading this. πŸ™‚

  510. Patricia

Damn it all back to the turn, why does the series have to end? =(

  511. Lisa G

I am excited for the last book and really curious to see where they all end up in the series. I have laughed and cried throughout the series. Rachel, Ivy, and Jenks and all the others are like old friends!

  512. Nicholin Birgen

I’m going to miss having new adventures… :-s

  513. Michelle C.

I’m sad the Hollows is ending, but I’m really looking forward to this book.

  514. karenjacinto

What will you write after this? I will miss reading about Rachel and Ivy and Jenks… but look forward to what you will write next!

  515. Brandy

I can’t help but wonder if there is a grave marker in that corner. Ivy’s maybe? So we know if Rachel really did manage to save her soul?

  516. April Alvey

    Congratulations love the cover

  517. Gina

    Cannot wait for this book!!

  518. Mary Allen

I really don’t know what I’ll do without a Rachel book to read during Lent!!!

    Rev. Mary

  519. kimberly davis

I named my new Simease kitten Ivy πŸ˜‰ My children run around the house saying “Ivy, Ivy Tamwood…where are you πŸ˜‰

  520. kristin clark

i will surely miss rachel and the gang.. i am reading the undead pool now. i cant wait until the witch with no name comes out . which is a play on the movie the man with no name. thank you for the fun ride.

  521. Melissa Sowa

    Love your books!

  522. Jenn Hoey

I’m sorry the series is ending, but I can’t wait to see what happens. Pale Demon is still my favorite and I hope to catch you at a book tour for WWNN to get mine signed. All the best!

  523. Roger Pavelle

I wish you had a chance to use “Paint Your Demon”, complete with Jenks singing drunk.

  524. I am going to throw some Buffy The Vampire Slayer Musical Songs to discuss my theory for the title cover of the story. THERE WILL BE SPOILERS***

“I’ve got a theory that it’s a demon. A dancing demon? No, something isn’t right there.” -Giles, “Once More, With Feeling”

Alright, so comparing the original DWW cover with this new one we for sure know three things: (1) Rachel is in tune with her demon powers in the new cover. Unlike the first cover, she is shown waves of harnessed ley line magic (or is it pure demon magic?) and is in a stance similar to a dual/stand off-more on that later, (2) She’s trying to fight for her freedom/independence. DWW- The blood price on her head from The IS and Trent’s attempts to kill her (taking childhood crushes to an extreme eh?). in TWWNN- not sure yet, and (3) She’s moving somewhere- DWW the background is the picture of the Church that she finally moves into with Ivy and Jenks. In TWWNN we see a bridge and she’s on a road. One can barely make out anything else but the bright light (I’m assuming her powers are THAT strong). So where can she be going? Is this alluding to her finally destroying or perhaps moving into the Ever-After? Or is she moving forward to her very own Happily-Ever-After?

In the DWW cover her attitude is more “Dirty Harry” than the “Man with No Name”- She was sent out on mundane assignments, wasn’t taken seriously even though she was good at her job, and she always wanted justice. In the beginning of her journey she needed the Earth charms around her waist to get the job done along with her reputation as a runner, much like Harry’s (awesome) sarcasm and his iconic .44 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 29. It’s not that they weren’t great at their jobs, they just didn’t always follow the rules to get it done. In this cover story, she’s a danger because they know she can be as reckless as Eastwood’s Callahan character- Clint Eastwood is amazing and I always think that Harry Callahan is somehow The Man With No Name reincarnated.
In the TWWNN cover (from what is shown)- I’m guessing she’s finally accepts her reality and lineage. Like Eastwood’s nameless character, Rachel throughout the series is given different names to describe her: a witch, demon, savior to vampire race, an alpha, or a plain ol’ threat to society for both Inderlander and Human alike. The mystery of what Rachel is makes her a major player between all worlds. She remains a person for justice and would do anything to protect those she loves even if it means using demon magic that would smut her soul. Like those spaghetti Westerns, this cover looks to me like Rachel is ready to “draw” on her opponent. Maybe the last piece of the cover is her against someone else. The last cover, we had Trent by her side though he was still behind her for the most part but he played a major role enough to be featured on the cover in that manner. This novel is essentially the final showdown and whether all loose ends come to a close, we know for sure that the scene that is playing out on the cover will be the scene to end all scenes. She’s once again fighting for her freedom but also for the freedom of all of her friends and colleagues- the vampires, the pixies, the elves, the werewolves, the FIB, even the demons, etc. She isn’t looking out just for herself, anymore.

In closing, I think Buffy can close off this silly theory-with feeling*- with the continuation of the song:
“I’ve got a theory: it doesn’t matter. What can’t we face if we’re together? What’s in this place that we can’t weather?… There’s nothing we can’t face.” -Buffy “Once More, With Feeling”

  525. I am so excited for the new book and at the same time very sad at the end of the series. I have been a part of The Hollows from the beginning and it will be a huge loss to read the end.

  526. KB Perkins-Manning

I’m saddened to see an end to the series. I think I’ll miss Al and Newt the most… 😦

  527. Angi H

Any chance of future short stories from the Hollows? I’m going to have withdrawals, can only re-read the series so many times. (4, so far!)

  528. Melaine B

Happy Friday! Thanks for the fun game this week πŸ™‚

  529. sue

Gonna be a sad day when the series ends….. Who knows how long the wanting and craving for more will last…..Still have those feelings about the Harry Potter series and Sookie Stackhouse series 😦 and now this withdrawals are on the way. Hopefully another equally good series will start. Thanks for all the great moments you have given us

  530. billy

    you are a great writer

  531. Danielle S

Stop teasing us and give us the good stuff already, woman! πŸ˜‰

  532. Kelsey M.

Thank you so much for the books. I’ve grown up with Rachel so she has a special place in my heart.

  533. SAJ

Thank you for the many hours of reading joy. Can’t wait to read your new series, too!

  534. Stacie Layne

I am looking forward to this book, but I’m sad that it’ll be the last one. Thank you for providing me with an entertaining escape from reality!!!

  535. Katie E

This cover is awesome, what are you hiding in that corner though? Is it everybodies favorite pixie? I love the coloring and how kick ass she looks. Can’t wait for the first two chapers monday. You rock Kim!!

  536. would love to win one of these

  537. Suzan Sweeney aka harmless

Just finished Pale Demon last night and went all over town yesterday looking for the rest to no luck! 😦 Kim Harrison books are sold out everywhere! Makes me sad I finished the last chapter last night instead of holding off.

  538. I know that a spin of series is probably not next but think of the many that are possible. Jenks and his children, Lucy, Al, and Newt just to name some.

  539. Anna

Can not wait to find out what happens. After so long the end is bittersweet. Love the last cover.

  540. Kim

Is that the bridge in Eden Park?

  541. NancyLynn Southard

I fell for Trent & Kisten from the beginning, so when Kis was no more I was devastated; I don’t know how I will handle the end of the Rachel Morgan series, as I have grown to love her so! I guess I can always re-read it from the beginning, if I am missing her. Wondering how it will all end & whether or not I will be happy about the ending.

  542. Wendy Overway

I know I’m grasping at straws but you and this series are my absolute favorite and I read Mercedes Lackey and Lois McMasters Bujold so you know you’re in good company so is there ANYWAY you can keep going with the Hollows? Like a series with Jenks as the main character? so we have glimpses of the old crew…or Al? I don’t have to tell you as it’s your universe but there is SO much that still could be done / followed in it. I won’t be bitter if you don’t but you have developed your world and characters with so much life and vitality that it’s going to be like never again hearing from a loved one if this is the end. I mean you even have music lists that they listen too or what inspired you and so much of my life revolves around music as well, when I read one of your books I even hear the music playing in my head. (no, I’m not crazy, my mother had me tested *grin*)

  543. Danielle Atkinson

This is so fun! I love Trent, but I kind of hope it is Al in the last piece. I want them to make up:-(.

  544. Sherri Kirbis

I was searching shelves for Hamilton when I spied your books upon the shelf. I was intrigued and took two home and have been immersed in your world ever since. While I’m saddened by the end…you will forever remain on my addiction author list. I look forward to what you will ink next.

  545. Judi Peil

Love the Hollows, sad to see it ending 😦

  546. Marcie

The hollows is my all time favorite series. I enjoy rereading the series over and over again. I also like that each time I find something “new” within the books that correlates to a book later in the series. Thanks so much for putting this awesome story to print! I am looking forward to reading more of your books.

  547. I am so sad that the end is coming but can’t wait for it, I know that a spin off is not what you are going to do next but there are so many possibilities, What has happened to Jax and will the butterfly hatch?

  548. Catherine

Has to be one of the first series I’ve totally obsessed over πŸ™‚

  549. Kayla Buchanan

I am currently re-reading the series for the millionth time in preparation for the final book. I’m so excited for the finale to see what happens but I’m dreading the end of something so wonderful!

  550. Mary White

I really don’t like endings..That moment you realize that the story is all most over..Yuck. I have loved the ride.

  551. I wonder if Rachel is in the Everafter in this cover. Will she save the demons?

  552. Danielle Whisenhunt

    i love Rachel and Ivy!!!!

  553. Kimberly

I’m going to miss the adventures of Rachel and Jenks and the whole gang. I read her books and I literally laugh out loud. Sooo sad it’s ending.

  554. Lori

I wasn’t sure I would like the white cover (I’m not much of a fan of white anything), but I’m really liking it so far! Oh, and I’m not sure of the Eastwood film, but every time I read the title I want to burst into song (paraphrasing a bit and substituring witch for horse), “I’ve been through the desert with a witch with no name!”

    • Lori

Good grief and I can’t even spell today! Try “substituting” not whatever the heck it was I accidentally typed! πŸ˜‰

  555. msdw992000

My hubby and I both love your books. We’ll miss visiting the Hollows.

  556. Faith Brancale

I wonder what kind of influence Algaliarept will have in this final book after his falling out with Rachel….I wonder how full circle we will come.

  557. Kim Barone

Love the Hollows books. It’s going to be very hard to say goodbye.

  558. Colleen Smith

Cannot believe this series is ending. I love it so much

  559. Michelle

I am so excited for this book, and then I know that I will have to hang on until your next series comes out. I just finished rereading TUP last night and my book is filled with highlights everywhere.

  560. Thank you for writing such an amazing series!
I’ve read some of the books through trying times, and they’ve helped me through them…so thank you for writing up characters like Rachel, Ivy, Jenks, Trent, and even Al (and everyone else in there too! Except for Ku Sox). I’m going to miss everyone so much but I’m also looking forward to what you come up with next πŸ™‚

  561. I’m going to miss Rachel and all her friends very much. Why does it have to end! Also, I hope the last book mends Rachel and Al’s relationship. He’s one of my favorite characters of all time (not just this series) and I hate to see them end on bad terms

  562. Kelly

Have read every one of these books and am so excited for the conclusion to a fantastic series!

  563. Teri Turnmire

Oh, how sad I am. I do not want this series to end. I feel I’ve lost them all and will never see them again. I tried to pre order the final book, but I was unable to do it. If I buy it, it really will be real then.. Maybe I shall never read it so I will always know I have one book in the series I have not yet read. I can’t bare the thought nothing is going to come after it.. .

  564. Have really enjoyed your books and eager to see what you publish in the future.

  565. Ginny A.

You are all kinds of awesomesauce.

  566. Margary Thrasher

The title is a nod the “man with no name” from the Sergio Leone dollars trilogy. I have loved your take on these titles and I will miss Rachel, Ivy, and Jenks when it is over.

  567. Would make my year to win this!

  568. The title comes from the Spagetti Western films Clint did. He is kind of an antihero, and no one ever calls him by any name so cult movies fans of these films just refer to him as The Man With No Name. I’m sad that this seriew is ending. Can you give us a hint what your new series will be about. I know you alreay have the lead female character.

  569. I’m so very sad that this will be the last book. I love the word that you’ve created. You are truly amazing.

  570. Samantha M.

I’m sad to see this series end. It really makes me start to cry when I think about not reading anymore of her story; but after all that Rachel has been through, she deserves to be happy. I know that not everything we want will happen, but as long as I see Rachel happy at last everything will be alright.

  571. I love this series, it is definitely in my top 5 all time favorite. It never gets old no matter how many times I re-read it. I didn’t think I would be happy with anyone that Rachel hooked up with after Kisten but you really got it right with Trent. I’m really excited to see how you ended it, I know its going to be great!

  572. I am so excited for this next book, and so sad that it will be the final. The Hollows world has allowed me such an amazing escape when I just needed to get away from it all. I thank you so much for your amazing character creation and imagination. l look forward to reading more from you in the future πŸ™‚

  573. James Miracle

I absolutely love your characters! I even love your dragon! Thanks for the thrilling bed time stories. My wife just started the series and I am so jealous that she has so much in front of her! πŸ˜’

  574. Kari

I will definitely miss new stories about Rachel, but I guess all good things must come to an end.

  575. Nikki

I’m actually curious to see how and if the title ties into the story. It strikes me as somewhat ironic since Rachel is soooo famous or rather infamous in the world of the Hallows. Everybody knows her name! Or maybe it’s a reference to a demon name? hmmm Either way super excited for this to come out. πŸ™‚

  576. I’m doing a reread of the Hollows Series, and I’m on The Good, The Bad, and The Undead. The final book release date is on my nephew’s birthday. I started a new job this week, and am feeling all around happy despite the sadness that one of my favorite series is ending.

  577. Kristy

I love how all of the species are intertwined, elves, witches, and demons. All if them being much closer related than they care to think. I also have a good giggle for Rachel’s body’s…uhm….post-coital reaction. LOL. Thanks for the great literary journey with characters that have touched my life in all the says a great writer should<3

  578. Amy Hudson

    Can’t wait for monday!!!

  579. Clara

I have enjoyed this series so much, and will miss these people in my life.
When I miss them too much, I’ll reread the series.

  580. I’m excited for this last installment and looking forward to your next adventure!

  581. I still can not believe the series that turned me into a reader has an end. The entire series holds a special place on my bookshelf and in my heart forever. Thank you Kim for creating a world that my mind wonders to from time to time without even opening a book. I do look forward to the next world you are creating, and see it nestled on the shelf with Rachel and the gang. Thank you.

  582. Carolyn Busby

    A Haiku for Kim

    Don’t know why I try
    I never win your contests
    Hopes are always crushed

    -HaikuGirl

  583. Michelle Sieradzki

Thank you for having such a unique writing voice and us into your strange and imaginative world.
Cannot wait for the last book (a little sad that it is over), but I am looking forward to reading about Peri! πŸ™‚

  584. Cate aka absolutartist1

I’m just finishing (in the middle of?) The Undead Pool so I completely get the waiting issue! πŸ˜›

  585. I’m not sure… I kind of think it looks like lightning/electricity. This poses the question of whether it is her own magic and in her hand is some sort of charm she created to be able to use or if it is something created by Trent for her to use and is really something with wild Elven magic waiting to be released onto an enemy.

  586. I have loved these characters and this world you have created. I’ve cried many times throughout this series. I wouldn’t trade the heartbreak for anything. Thank you for the adventures!

  587. pale rider? it’s been too long since i’ve seen that movie but… thanks for the memories and the books and really hope to see more of Rachael and gang in the future, perhaps anthology? just saying.

  588. Tiina Allen

Just finished a reread of the series in preparation…so sad that it’s ending, but MAN, what a ride!

  589. Colette Johnson

The Hallows series is my favorite book series! I can’t wait till the next one, although I am very sad it is the end.. but all great thinks must come to an end.. right? Thanks so much Kim for writing and creating amazing characters that we have all come to know and love!

  590. Gemma

I love your books and am so sad that the hollows is ending.
I just hope that my favourite characters get a happy ending πŸ™‚

  591. Jeanna A

I’m really sad that this next book will be the last of the series. I’m excited to see what is yet to come in other works though.

  592. Heather

I’m so sad the series is ending, but I am happy you are still writing πŸ™‚ Thank you!

  593. I’m really sad that this journey is ending, but am excited for the next one. I remember reading For A Few Demons More, and I cried so hard by the time I was done. I read the next book, but then had trouble heading over to the next after that. I couldn’t seem to dig into it again. Then a year or two later I re-read Dead Witch Walking and couldn’t get back into second book when I got to it. When you started doing the read-along on Goodreads, I was working 70 hours a week, but managed to start reading again, and I realized something. I had to get over Kisten’s death. I couldn’t move on yet, and needed more time to move on. Now I can’t put them down and now it is coming full circle. Thank you so much for the wonderful ride and for making characters that really stick with you. Ones you could mourn for, cheer for, and make a part of our lives. Thank you!

  594. courtney Lamb

Thank you for the Contest to win kool stuff….that in her hand is the Relic…it would be cool to read a ‘preturn book’ and during the ‘turn’ book =) or before the ‘turn’..i just am curious as to what happened caused it..How did people survive.

  595. Robin Layton

I am sad that this will be the last book, I guess I need to read the whole series over again to dull the pain and get ready for Labor Day.

  596. Christa Fricke

Still loving the references to Clint! This one though! It’s a reference to the main character of the Dollars Trilogy, the Man with No Name! Right on! πŸ˜‰

  597. Allison Page

I’m sad to see this series come to a close, but as they say, “all good things must come to an end.” ..and the Hollows series certainly was that. Thank you for creating these wonderful characters and stories! I look forward to your next series!

  598. Please let Ivy keep her soul… that is the only happy ending I need! Kim, I have loved your Hollows series and thanks for always making the waits between books more than fun!

  599. Michelle L

I love this series and I’m very sad to see it end! ❀ <3<3<3<3<3<3!!! 😦

  600. momof3boysandaprincess

I have always loved the play on the titles, originally it’s what drew me to your books! If there was that much it the title then the books had to be amazing, I have never been disappointed! Thank you so much for all you do!!!!

  601. Erin Teuton

I cannot wait to read the final book and learn some more about Newt.

  602. Thank you for this series. I was so burned out on the supernatural stories. The female lead always seemed to need a dude to save her. I love that Rachel has gotten stronger and she has Ivy and Jenks and Trent to help her when she needs it, but if she doesn’t have them she doesn’t cower waiting to be saved. She tries to save herself. I love them all and I’m going to miss them something awful.

  603. Blane Mather

Clint Eastwood played an antihero whose character’s names are never revealed in FIVE of his “spaghetti western” films, but none of them are titled “The Man with No Name” and he is never actually addressed by that title in any of the films. Also, since I missed answering the other day, I prefer Kindle reader format – Kindle restored my ability to read books again.

  604. Cindy Williams

Can’t wait for that last book, but hate to see it end!

  605. Elizabeth De La Rosa

These characters have become my friends and I am so grateful to have discovered them. While I am trilled to read and re-read this series I’m sad to see it end. I’ve enjoyed watching the characters grow emotionally, physically, spiritually- I can’t wait to find out what this last book has in store.

  606. Kimberly W.

I just want to say thank you so much for writing these books! While I’m sad that Rachel’s story is ending I’m really looking forward to reading your future books πŸ™‚

  607. Jennifer P.

I think I see a bridge in the new cover. Maybe it is symbolic of Rachel bridging the Hereafter with the Everafter.

  608. esperanza

I know this is the last of the series. Will there be any more? Maybe in a novella letting us know how everyone is doing?

  609. Rachel Sternberg

I love the “gold theme” on the cover, does this mean maybe her aura is cleaning up?

  610. Cindy

So happy the last two books are publishing so close together! Thank you!

  611. darlenegordon

Unfortunately, I got into this series late, and now it’s ending! The last few months have been great reading the whole series, and now the last one in September. I can’t sneeze now without thinking of Rachel being summoned by Al. All that gold, no black smut. Does Rachel bring the two worlds together at last?

  612. jewels

I’m just hoping to finish reading all the books via Audible before the last one comes out πŸ™‚

  613. Becky Ponstein

Love your books and I Love Clint Eastwood movies.

  614. Dawn Walsh

I am going to miss this series!!!!! Love it!

  615. Jeannine

I’m looking forward to the next book, but I’m really dreading that this will be the end of the series.

  617. Dani Simmons

I love your books! I’m so excited and sad for this one cuz I want to know what happens but at the same time I know this is the last one so I won’t get to see more of the characters I’ve grown to love. This is a series I’m definitely going to be re-reading a lot lol πŸ™‚ thank you.

  618. Kristine L.

I spent three days in bed crying over Kisten’s death. Three days reading for a few hours, falling asleep for a few hours, waking up and starting reading again. It was pretty awful. Thanks for making me experience that.

  619. Lacy Mitchell

Ah the man with no name. What a fitting goodbye to rachel. As much as I don’t want to see it end.. the pale rider always rode out of town at the end…. Still with no name… Adieu

  620. So excited to read this book! Really really enjoyed the read along too πŸ™‚

  621. RobinB

I think the title goes back to those “spaghetti westerns” where his character had no real name.

  622. TJ

I’m really sad this is going to be the last book 😦

  623. Many years ago, my beautiful step daughter gave me a book for Christmas. She knows I love to read and she thought Every Which Way But Dead looked like something I would like. Needless to say, I was hooked! I immediately went out and got the previous 2 and then every year waited impatiently for the next book to be released. I became addicted to the other series under another pen name. I have enjoyed going to book signings whenever Kim is anywhere near where I live. My precious chosen daughter gave me a gift beyond that first carefully chosen Christmas gift. She gave me a joy that lasted much longer than the minute it took to unwrap!

  624. Jenn taylor

Just wanted to say I was not a reader at all then I found this great book EWWBD and I started to research the author and realized she had more books and I fell in love with reading and I just want to say thank you for being a great author and making me realize I love to read!!!!!!!

  625. Debbie Mueller

Thank you for such a wonderful series. You are one of my very favorite writers and I will miss all the characters you have given a voice and made so real in the Hollows.

  626. Bj Moreau

Im just starting to get into the series and now its ending….. this make me sad. Guess Ill just have to start them over again! πŸ™‚

  627. Terran Williams

I just want you to know how much your series has touched my life. It is something my husband and I get to share together (and often times it can be hard to find moments of peace like this) and enjoy. I cant wait to share them with my daughter when she’s a little older (8 now). I am disappointed that this is to be the last book, but I am so glad to have been along for the ride. Thank you thank you thank you for all the wonderful memories… and you’re sure there isn’t a Plan B in here anywhere?

  628. Jade P.

I don’t know whether I want to rejoice, laugh or cry right now. So many years finally coming to end. Our hearts will stay in the Hollows long after.

  629. susanne deventure

I know you coudn’t bring Kisten back. But, my heart says Trent is the best choice for the future.

  630. wvcountrygirl1956

It comes from the movie “The MAN WITH NO NAME” one of the movies in the trilogy Clint Eastwood did.

    • Blane Mather

Sorry, Clint Eastwood played an antihero whose character’s names are never revealed in FOUR of his “spaghetti western” films, but none of them are titled “The Man with No Name” and he is never actually addressed by that title in any of the films.

  631. Dorothy Schuld-Johnson

Maybe the title refers to Clint’s spaghetti western character never actually having a name. He’s just the dude with the eerie expression who doles out his own form of justice…

  632. Liz Good

I’ll never be able to thank you enough for giving me a wonderful escape to the Hollows. The three-day cry you provided when Kisten died, to all the laugh out loud silly antics of Rachel and Jenks. I feel like I’m losing old friends, but I know you’ll keep writing……and I can hardly wait to see what wonders you write next!

  633. Heather Corby

The Hollows series has been a joy to read since the first book. I am looking forward to how you wrap things up (or don’t). One of my biggest hopes is that Rachel does find a way to save Ivy’s soul, and that Rachel herself finally finds happiness.

  634. Lisa Gardner

Thank you for your writing. I truly look forward to what you do next….you are my favorite author.

  635. I have loved this series of Books. Rachel, Ivy , Jenks, Trent and Al. I miss Ceri and Kisten , but I am glad that Quinn has both of the girls to look after. I am going to miss looking to read what the future will hold for all of them.

  636. Heather Mullenberg

Thank you for letting me escape reality and dive into Rachel ‘ s world. I will miss Jenks and his wit, along with his colorful swears. “Tink’s pink dildo” is a favorite!

  637. I hope everyone is having fun! πŸ™‚

  638. Becki Hallert

I will restart this series again. I love these characters. I really wish it wasn’t ending. Hopefully Kim will do a spinoff series and every once in a while we’ll get to hear about all of them. Best wishes Kim.

  639. Kimberly

I am so excited to see what will happen to everyone and can’t wait to see what you write in the future!

  640. So what’s next to come from the great Kim Harrison? Inquiring minds want to know.

  641. Daniel Harkavy

Others have already mentioned The Man With No Name, so I’m just going to leave this comment

  642. Georgie

As excited as I am about reading this book, (and early too), I’m still so sad to see this series end!!!

  643. Gaye Johnston

Thank you, Kim, for the friends (and necessary others) that you have so graciously shared with us… May they stay with us ever more! X

  644. I can’t believe this is the end!! I will scour every corner of the Internet to look for fanfic I can’t enjoy a world without the Hollows

  645. Amanda Quinn

Thank you for the Hollows Kim! I can’t wait to read the last book in September!

  646. Ama

I think it is Rachel at Eden Park in a ley line. But I don’t want the series to end. I will go through some major depression for sure.

  647. Kami

Love your books!! I have been rooting for Trent for a while now, I think since the whole bathtub incident. I’m guessing this book has something to do with Ivy’s soul, since it’s the last one. Can’t wait to see the next project!! πŸ™‚

  648. Rachel R

would love it if at some time in the future you would pick the hollows series back up i am sad to see it come to an end

  649. Laura Holben

I have to say the parallel to Clint Eastwood is great, I cant wait to see what hapoens in the end, so many things to finish! Love your books!

  650. Heather Harrigan

While I’m really excited to read The Witch With No Name, I’m super sad to see this series end. Thanks for being a kick ass writer and taking me on a kick ass adventure!

  651. Dawna Immele

You are one of my all time favorite authors. Looking forward to reading what ever you choose to write in the future.

  652. the title is from my favorite clint eastwood western The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.i’m sorry that hollows is ending. please just tie everything up with no loose ends. i can’t wait for your next series.

  653. Mark B.

Just writing a post so that I can be entered. On a more serious note though, thanks for writing this series. I truly enjoyed reading them all πŸ™‚

  654. Nina Kiggans

I don’t want the series to end. :-[

  655. It has been an amazing ride through the Hollows. I actually got started on this series by going to a book signing you had here in Vegas. My wife (at the time) and I were getting your newest book signed for her best friend, who is a fan. That day got me started on two brand new authors (for me), as you were touring with Vicki Petersson.

By the end of the book signing, I had her first novel, and I went and picked up yours, and it started me on a merry adventure through your world. I immediately fell in love with your characters. Especially the supporting cast. If Ivy’s intense seductive, violent allure doesn’t draw you in, Jenks will surely have you coming back, and you can’t help but love Rachel, and watching her navigate all the crazy that comes her way.

It’s sad to see the series coming to an end, your series is one of those that I eagerly await and look forward to. You sit in the esteemed high council of Urban Fantasy authors alongside Jim Butcher, and Laurell K. Hamilton (My ideal high council, don’t hate.). I hate to see the series end, but I’d rather you end it when you feel it’s time than drag it out beyond it’s natural conclusion, and I’m just happy to see where it’s going, and to see some of my favorite characters stepping deeper into the limelight beside Rachel. I’ll treasure this series always, and read it often, and look forward to what comes next.

Thank you for the memories, the stories, the ups, the downs, and the inbetweens. Tink bless you.

  656. I just want to say that this series managed to give me something brand new to love (and hate) about vampires just when I thought I’d read it all. It kept them in the “adult” realm while still giving them depth and intrigue. Ivy is an unforgettable character and the struggles with Piscary, Felix, and more aren’t going anywhere in my memory banks soon. Thanks for helping repopulate vampiric lore with some dark and intrigue and less glitter and sparkle.

  657. Cassie

I bought Dead Witch Walking when it first came out and set it aside for several years. Then I finally read it and was hooked! I was so excited because by then you had already written several more – I love it when I discover an author and can splurge on her books! Since then, I’ve waited impatiently for each new book. Thank you, thank you for releasing The Witch with No Name early….sad and happy at the same time.

  658. Erin

Thank you for the Hollows and for Rachel. I have truly enjoyed watching the Twitchy Witch evolve and grow up. Though I am sad to see the end of the series, I can’t wait to see how you wrap it up.

  659. “The Witch With No Name” refers to Clint Eastwood’s “spaghetti westerns” where he would often come into a town as the stranger, and even after being treated badly end up saving the place from the bad guys. The townspeople never knew his real name although a few suspected who he was, but he was referred to as the “man with no name”.
I always got a kick out of you naming your books out of Eastwood’s movies. One of the last drive in’s open here, their last weekend, my best friend and I went to was a 4 movie Clint Eastwood spaghetti western playbill. We had a blast and loved his movies so much! as much as I have loved this series of books. Sorry that it’s ending.

  660. Erika

I just want to extend a heartfelt, sincere thank you for writing these books. The Hollows is an amazing series (my favourite, of course!) and even though they are coming to an end, I am still excited to see what you bring to us in the future! Kim Harrison fans are the best fans and we will support everything you do! Thank you, Kim!

  661. Chris Lucard

All of Eastwoods spaghetti westerns and Pale rider were the Man With No Name movies.

  662. I have loved this series & will miss new adventures with Rachel & the gang but am thankful for the memories of the adventures you have shared. πŸ™‚

  663. Sad that I won’t have further Hollows adventures to look forward to. But still very excited for the last book. Can’t wait till September! πŸ™‚

  664. Stacy Clyde

The title comes from the documentary of Clint Eastwood. The man with no name!
Please Pick me! Pick meeee πŸ™‚

  665. Christina

Whenever I read a book and someone offers the female character wine, I automatically think “she can’t it gives her migraines”

  666. Heather R.

Can’t believe how close the end is and I can never guess the Eastwood references.

  667. Sergio Valencia

The Man with No Name was Eastwood’s character in the Leone trilogy.

  668. Joe Sheldon

Great series to read. I have to catch up and on the books.

  669. holly porter

Thank you for such a great ride with this series. You created a realistic world that sucked me in from day one!

  670. Tristan Strege

Whatever it is, Rachel will be sure to kick ass in the hottest way possible!!

  671. Heather Scott

I am wondering if there are any plans in the future for a spin off series about any of the kids, mostly thinking the girls and/or jacks adventures with nick…??

  672. Stacy Clyde

It’s a documentary of Clint Eastwood. “A man with no name” pic me pick me!

  673. Paula J

I have finished The Undead Pool and as always loved it completely. So very sad that there is only one more book. I have loved Rachel and her world from the very first book. Can;t believe it’s almost over. I own every one of the books so I know I will find myself reading them over again. There are very few books I feel that way about. Can’t wait to see what you do next but I am going to miss getting new stories about Rachel and the gang.

  674. Donna Begley

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years I’ve been visiting the Hollows. I started reading this series when my little girl would take a nap , and she’s now 11.. I feel old. πŸ™‚ Rachel always seemed like someone cool to hang out with, albeit dangerous (or unlucky) Looking forward to the last book, but kinda sad too. Thanks Kim for all of the great adventures!

  675. Grace Rapai

I am not ready to have the series end. But I am looking forward to seeing how Rachel saving Ivy’s soul wraps up!

  676. l057

so looking forward to this book, yet I dont want it to end!!!!!!!!!!!

  677. Mandi Hinchman

I am currently behind in the series but I have to do my annual re read before I can catch up. I will be so sad when it is over!

  678. Kara

I’m so excited to see how this all comes together! I hope it’s a happy ending! I can’t wait to read your next series!! πŸ™‚

  679. I wanted to say thanks for this A-freaking-mazing series that has been such a huge part of my life for so many years! Sad for the end, but I know it will be fantastic, as they all have been. I’m thinking that this cover shows her coming into full witch & demon powers as she has a RING on her finger from Trent!

  680. Bel

The name for this book is from a Clint Eastwood trilogy where he is known as the man with no name or “Blondie” because is his hair. I am excited and sad at the same time. I love this series and am sad its going to end. Thanks for the great story. Can’t wait for the next world you bring us into!

  681. I always thought it would be really cool to have a pixy on the cover. Maybe just sitting on Rachel’s shoulder.

  682. jesshaz

I can’t believe how much I am going to miss Rachel, and Trent, and Jenks, and Ivy and everyone else from this series. They have truely become my friends and family! You are an amzing story teller Kim!!!

  683. Crish Cottrill

I am so sad that this series is coming to an end. I have always looked forward to grabbing the next book to follow my favorite characters in present literature. The stories are always so creative and wildly imaginative.

  684. Kyla

I remember first discovering your series in high school and enjoying every bit of it! It brought me even closer with my best friend when we met in college and has helped me get out of many a writing block. XD
Although I am sad for this series to end I am glad you have not killed it by keeping it going way past it’s need just because.
Thank-you for writin this series and I cannot wait to begin the adventure with you again in your next! ^^

  685. Kristy scherman

    I absolutely love your books!

  686. I will miss the annual vacations in the Hollows.

  687. Coreena S

I don’t have a ton of free time to read all the other readers comments (having an infant and toddler will do that to a person) so this may have been mentioned already… But the final cover may be echoing all the previous covers. Now I just have to investigate… Might be totally wrong!

  688. Tonja Post

Can’t wait for the next series.

  689. Ryann

I’m rereading the series so I haven’t read The Undead Pool yet. I just can not believe my favorite series is coming to an end! My aunt got me started on The Hollows and I was instantly hooked!!!

  690. Kelsey

The Hollows have been such a big part of my life. Dead Witch Walking got me into reading and I haven’t stopped. I’m sad that the series is coming to an end but so very excited to see where it goes. Thank you for such an amazing story and such wonderful characters. I have laughed with them, cried with them, gotten angry with them, and I will never forget them.

  691. Chris

I will miss the hollows gang but can’t wait to see what’s up next!!!

  692. Dawn Cancellieri

So sad it’s ending, but so grateful to have gotten the chance to experience it. Thank you!

  693. Looks like no smut. But pure what? Hmmm…
I’m so excited that I don’t have to wait another year, but I’d wait if it meant more Hollows. Bittersweet. However, looking forward to Peri!

  694. My 2 dogs are named Jenks and Matalina after the characters from your books.

  695. TonyB

The Man With No Name came from the three movies, A Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The Clintwood character had no “real” name like Bill or Bob or even Tex, although Tuco called him Blondie in TGBU.
    TonyB

  696. Charity

I am relieved isn’t a child’s hand…that would have been too predictable and there is nothing about Rachel that is predictable!

  697. The coming of this book is bittersweet. On the one hand I get to read another great book in this series! On the other hand, I get to read the last book in this series! This will be the third series of books in this genre that is ending for me in the last few years. It’s hard to find anything that could replace this!

  698. Stephen Rider

Hmmm, the Clint Eastwood move could be Pale Rider, since you never really get his name, only glimpses of where he came from, pretty much just call him Preacher throughout the movie.
Any insight into your next project? Another series. I am still struggling with no new Hollows books after this one. Any chance you will make it out to another one of the Comic Con’s?

Tell Guy he should come out to the bike race in Durango Colorado in May!

  699. Magdalena Preciado

Waaa well, I believe that the title it’s because Rachel is really a Demon. And yep I can’t waitn to read the undead poolso that I can read the two new chapters!!!!

  700. Diane S

It’s like my friends are moving and I only have old letters to read. I’ll miss the hollows, but wait for the last book and love the cover. πŸ™‚

  701. samantha adams

I’m excited and sad for the last book and I hope don’t cry

  702. Deanne Winter

I’m sad that this is the last book… this is a series that I would love to see continue on..

  703. Kelly

All the packages of freebies are sooo cool & I really like the cover it’s just sooo cool

  704. Honestly you are the best writer ever! You have such a beautiful gift!
I’ve decided that I will ask for vacation days at work as soon as its released to enjoy it long and with my full attention!! πŸ˜€

  705. Jennifer Goodballet

The hollows books helped me get through nursing school. They helped me wind down and let go of some of the stress of it! I love them!

  706. The cover looks so good! I am curious what your next project is πŸ™‚

  707. Sarah Bird

September can not come soon enough! But in the same breath I want it to take longer!! I know a movie is never as good as the book but…. Then it wouldn’t be THE END πŸ™‚

  708. Alice

My husband calls me Itchy Witch and we call our son (Alexander) Big Al all the time. xoxo.

  709. It keeps reminding me of a song! But in High Plains Drifter and even Pale Rider (?) I think, Clint was the man with no name. Plus in the Good, The Bad, and the ugly, he was supposed to write the name of the grave with the gold, but it was an unmarked grave. Another “no name”. I could be wrong in my references. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a “Spaghetti Western Saturday” movie-fest.

I’ve loved this series since day 1! Thank you for creating such an awesome world.

  710. Alyson

I can’t wait for the last book. Then again I am going to be sad when I do get it because it will be ending. That means though that I get to find another book or series to add. My problem is what to pick.

  711. Hmm … The best part of the cover you say? I can’t wait! I know that its mimicking the first book – I can definitely see the similarities – but I can’t for the life of me think what’s in that corner. A building of some sort? In closing, I’ll admit that I’m torn between celebrating this September, or treating it like an upcoming funeral. I’m sad to see the series end – but at least I’m a shameless rereader. When I get lonely for the gang, I’ll start start with DWW again! P.S. Let this have a HAPPY ending, please? >.<

  712. Liz Means

You’ve created such a wonderful world, I feel like Rachel and Ivy can come strolling up at any minute. (Jenks is more of a “buzz up”). I love the Hollows, and on one hand, it’s sad to see you moving on. On the other hand, you’ve gifted everyone with so much life (yes, even Big Al), that I believe they live without your voice.

Thank you; for the view of the world that is so positive, loving and compassionate – and for the smoking hot bits that make the sad better.

  713. Heather Webber

So sad to see this awesome series end but it has been an amazing ride!!!

  714. billie jo sennett

Ok hopefully im doing this right im a natural born witch practicing Wicca for 17 years I love the Hallows books and I believe the cover is when rachel returns Al to the love of his life bringing peace to the elves and demons and rachel being demon and elf no longer a witch its y she has no name

  715. Thanks to you and the Hollows I have honed my craft. You have inspired me over the years and with the support of my family and the help of a great editor my first novel will be published. Also thanks for bringing more of a city I love into the light. Over the years and since I haven’t lived in Cincy for such a long time I’ve forgotten many of the sights you’ve talked about. Now I want to show my husband all the wonderful places in the City I was born in.

  716. Monica Schultz

I shall miss the taking of tinks name in vain. Always sad when a series end, but I’ll always have the great memories this series brought me.

  717. Cindy

As excited as I am to have anotehr book soon, I am so sad to see this series end. I cannot imagine how torn you must be. Thank you so much for sharing this world with us!

  718. danielle beason

I have enjoyed this series tremendously. I am sad to see it end. I am curious as to what your next series will be about. I look forward to it.

Thank you for the laughs and the tears. πŸ™‚

  719. Sherry Hamm

This is one of those series that you read over and over again. While I am sad to see it end, I know I will revisit the Hollows many times in the future.

  720. Shanna Jackson

I am sorry to see series end but I am so glad I found it.

  721. Samantha Dawson

All i can say is that I’m terribly excited for the last installment and horribly sad all at the same time. I know when I read the last book I will be drowning in tears of joy. I’m thankful we have authors in the world like you who can take a series and make the world fall in love with your story. Thank you for the years of great reading. I cannot wait to my hands on the last installment :).

  722. Josephine Curtis

Does the new cover have anything to relate with Rachel coming full circle from her beginnings of quoting the IS, becoming a mercenary like, then outlaw, reluctantly saving the world, and finally to where she fully grows into her magic as a demon and witch. By the way, Rachel is the witch with no name I believe.

  723. Lesley A.

I’m an Al fan, so I hope our favorite demon gets a cameo on a cover before the end. πŸ™‚ After all, there’s been a lot of other dangerous men sharing cover time with Rachel! …wait…that didn’t quite come out right….

  724. The title is a reference to Eastwood’s character in the Dollar trilogy, and this is something I would not know were it not for my husband insisting I fill my film education gap by watching those!

I am sad that the series is ending, but glad you’re doing it at this point before we readers start to feel like it’s dragging–you’ve got a great sense for when to stop, I think. I’m looking forward to starting another series by you once it’s finished!

  725. Liz L

I’m so excited for this book to come out but sad it is the last one. I’ve been following the series since the second book was out and have reread it many times.

  726. Drew McKerlie

This is looking amazing as always wow. I can’t wait to read this and see what you have planned for us. So much seems in limbo can’t possibly imagine how you can wrap it all up between the redwood babies and Ivy’s soul and with the wild magic twist of the last book just wow

  727. Judy G.

One of my iPods is named Kisten. πŸ™‚

  728. Martin

I am looking forward to the new book, and to the short stories that will be in the paperbacks when they are released.

  729. Joanne P

Sad to see the series end, but I sure can’t wait to find out how it does!

  730. Wednesday W

It is bittersweet for me as this is my favorite series of all. I love the characters and eagerly wait for the next adventure. I’m sure your next series will be just as great as The Hollows. I also love how involved you are with the fans and look forward to more blogs, contests and seeing your knitting projects!!!

  731. Dacia Poissant

It’s sad knowhing this series is coming to an end. After years of waiting for the next book, not having one to wait for is a sad thought. But, I look forward to your new series.

  732. Karla Haswell

As much as I love Rachel and Ivy, Jenks is my favorite. I love his colorful, imaginative Tink inspired curses.

  733. As a mom of 3 I am currently awake and no one else is. I should have been able to sleep but no that’s not allowed anymore.

  734. Joella Elbert

Thanks so much for sharing Rachel and her world with me! I LOVE this series and am going to miss looking forward to finding out what is coming next in Rachel’s life with the release of each new book!! It is a series I will read over and over in the years to come!!

  735. Melissa Chapman

Amazing cover! These are some of my favorite books, and I can’t wait to see how things turn out for Rachel.

  736. Toni Maritima

Will miss fresh installments of the Hollows, and am glad that there’s not a long wait until the next (last) books comes out.

  737. Brittney K

When I see the title, I always think of the song “horse with no name”. I am so sad the books are ending! I know it will have a fantastic ending, but its still so bittersweet to part with Rachel, Jenks, and all the others that I’ve come to love. I think the new cover will have Jenks on it! Thank you for being awesome!

  738. lacy thomas

    A Horse with No Name!!!!!

  739. Jen W.

The cover looks fantastic and the title sounds like it’s referring to summoning names, at least on the book side of things. I know nothing of Clint Eastwood movies.

  740. Bridget Hopper

I’m so excited about the new book! I can’t believe it’s the end of the series. So sad:(

  741. Emily Cyr

im reading this series now! trying to finish it up! so sad its ending. but good things and such πŸ™‚

  742. Margaret

Peri’s got some ginormous shoes to fill, but I bet we’ll still be doing something like this ten tears from now.

  743. Randi Cutburth

I’m going to miss Rachel so much. But closer is a good thing.

  744. Sydney S

This is one of my favorite series of all time and simply put it is because of the characters. You make them so dynamic and they grow more astounding and complex with each and every book.

I have read other series where the female leads are butt kicking bad ass women that seem to have no weaknesses or other feelings. They stay the same through all situations and books.

Not that but kicking bad ass is bad, but with your series you make them relatable. You give them weaknesses, fears, and doubts which they then triumph over.

Also I was always a big fan of Listen and Rachel and maybe balked a little when I saw her and Trent getting closer. But, Trent really is the best choice for her.

  745. Fiona R.

Thank you for sharing the Hollows with us.
    Best series ever!
can’t wait for the last book, but sad at the same time!

  746. g33kxx

I am so lucky to have been involved in this crazy adventure! The photography contest for the Hollows Insider was a unique experience. Thanks again for letting your readers be so involved in the series.

  747. Kirsten Viola

Great prompt… The name (I think) comes from Clint’s major international role as the ‘Man with No Name’ in Sergio Leone’s “Dollars” trilogy (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly).

  748. Tammy Killen

Kim, your stories have helped me through some long nights and hard times. Thank you for the incredible characters, I will be a life long fan of your worlds.

  749. Yvonne Soule

I’ve been thinking about the title and Clint Eastwood movies. The one that comes to mind is where Clint is the sheriff. He died because the towns people did nothing to help him when a band of outlaws showed up and tormented the town. He was able to come back from death, a stranger with no name, who “helps” the town when the outlaws are due back. It was a great movie, and the guilty persons got what was coming to them!

  750. Amy

Sad to see the series end.

  751. Megan S

I have to tell you that I have really enjoyed reading this series so much that I haven’t even read The Undead Pool yet, (despite having it on my shelf!) because I’m so sad that the Hollows is ending! It’s been an amazing series and I admire all the skills you have as such an amazing writer. Thank you for it all!!! ^_^

  752. LadySuzyn

I have loved the series from the very first book. Sad to see it end. Like an old friend is leaving and never coming back. Looking forward to new adventures with you.

  753. amy berger

I’m sad to see the set end, but it’s been a great run!!

  754. It’s been so wonderful to ride along with Rachel through her journey. In the beginning it upset me how many bad decisions she made. I would get so frustrated with her. But she always rang true. I wouldn’t be upset with her if she wasn’t “real” in my mind. Thank you so much for giving us this wonderful world and so many wonderful characters. I will miss Rachel and I’m glad that she made some of those “bad” decisions. In the end some of them were the best things she could have done.

  755. Christian

Since we can write anything, I want to say THANK YOU! The Hollows Series is truly my most favorite series of books. I’m so happy there have been so many of them! I’ve been know to read books more than once but the Hollows is a place I can come back to over and over and over and never get bored! You rock! ❀

  756. Sharon Connor

I can’t wait for The Witch With No Name. In a way, I’m sad to see it because I know it means no more Rachel and Jinks. But everything has to end and Thank you for sharing your visions with us.

  757. Aimee Rhodes

I am so excited for the new book to come out but also very sad! These characters are ones that will always stay with me. Thank you Kim for sharing these wonderfully written books with us!

  758. Toni m

The biggest (only?) relief is not having to wait a long time for the last book.

  759. Kevin B

Isn’t the title an allusion to a series of films that Clint starred in that included a running character called “The Man With No Name”?

This book sounds like a long one, yay! And all I can presume is that it looks like Rachel is forging a new magical path and/or cleaning up her aura? I don’t seem to remember much about references to gold colored magics except in her own aura/protective bubbles.

  760. Melissa Green

A few years ago, a friend handed me ‘Dead Witch Walking’ and said, “This is so you, you’re going to love it!” I’ve been hooked ever since. I felt fortunate to have met you last time you came through Houston. You were so approachable and friendly, which made your books an even more enjoyable experience. Thank you so much for bringing this world to us!! I wish you all the best things in life.

  761. Thank you for writing a wonderful series that has kept me on an emotional roller coaster for years. I will miss the characters that have almost become like family to me.

  762. Just wanted to say….Love the books! Not too happy that it is all coming to an end though I do have a ever nagging question. What happened to Keasley? He was there, then gone. Maybe I missed something or it didn’t register in my brain. Just might go back and read the entire series while I wait for the last release. Thank you for all the wonderful trips into the fascinating world of Rachel Morgan.

  763. Teri Carro

I really hope by ending the series that doesn’t mean Rachel is going to die…I am hoping she finally gets her happy ending that she so deserves.

  764. Maya

What strikes me is there’s no black in Rachel’s magic here. Where’d the smut go? πŸ™‚

  765. Shere'e in Seattle

I am echoing the sadness that the series is ending. It is going to be sad no longer get to read about our friends and their wonderful adventures. I am looking forward to whatever new series you start writing and hope that it has a “Jenks” type character in it. He is just soo much fun to read about.

  766. Robin Stonecipher

I love this Series. I am so sad to see it end. 😦 Please tell me you will be starting a new series soon.

  767. Jane Torres

My only comment is, I am glad I have the books to re-read….I hate seeing the series end. Will there be a new one? I love you writing skills.

  768. I can’t wait for the new book but I’m also sad that the series is ending. 😒

  769. Carrie Benes

I will be so sad when this ends!!

  770. Pamela Presley

“The Man with No Name”. Just dropping it out there since I never win at these things. I give up to easily. Love the series have every book in the Hollows series. Waiting for the newest one to come out. I am a huge fan. Thank you for the awesome books to keep the imagination flowing and the enjoyment of reading. Once again congratulations.

  771. Melissa A

Thank-you for writing the Hollow Series πŸ™‚ It’s been an awesome adventure from start to finish (well when the new novel comes out). I can’t wait for whatever you do next!

  772. Perla

I’m just having a bittersweet moment because I love the Hollow’s series. It’s one of my favorites, but I’m sad that it has come to an end.

  773. Sara harper

I’m so bummed the series is ending. I’m currently rereading the series…. Again!!!!
I am hoping there is delicious sex scene with Rachel and Trent before the end
It’d would be awesome to see more of Al too.
Do we ever get to know if Rachel finds a way to save Ivys soul when she dies?
Such a great series!!! Thanks for all your hard work!!
Any chance we (the fans) can purchase any of the t-shirts?

  774. Kelly Fine

I’m going to miss having books from this series coming out-but at least I have them when I have future withdrawals. Looking forward to whatever new books you have for us in the future!

  775. abigailewhite

I believe the title is from a Clint Eastwood Trilogy (the overall name). I just want to say, this is by far the best world building I have come across, as well as the best build of characters and their interwoven lives. They mesh (or sometimes clash) well without seeming forced, its certainly been a pleasure to be a part of the reading experience. Also, thank you for being available to your readers, very refreshing!

  776. Amy McDonald

I so love The Hallows series!! I hate to see it end, but I understand that all good things must come to an end. Thank you Kim for such an amazing series!! And best of luck on your future series, I can’t wait to see what they are!!

  777. Richard Alvey

Really like the series and have turned a couple of my friends on to the series also. I sort of unhappy that it’s coming to an end.

  778. Jen H

I’m so excited for the early release but I’m going to miss this marvelous world and its amazing characters! I hope you will consider a Hollows short story every once in a while just to give us addicts a taste of what we crave πŸ™‚

  779. Daniel Ludlow

It’s been a long time since there has been a series of books that has sucked me in this much, I’m going to be so sad to see it end.

  780. Dana LaManna

I really like how this cover relates back to the first cover. Of course the references to Clint Eastwood movies are awesome and I love the older ones too where his character was called “the man with no name”. I’m so excited for the last book!

  781. I’m stuck between, Can’t wait for the new book to come out!, and No! Please don’t let the series end! Ha! It’s been a wonderful story and thank you so much for sharing it with the world. πŸ™‚

  782. Joshua A

First, I wanted to say how very much I will miss your series once it’s over, it was one of the first urban fantasy series that I read and I’ve loved it from day one, even if I did accidentally start with For a Few Demons More by accident.

Speaking of, that’s where the latest title comes from, or rather the movie that inspired that title along with A Fistful of Dollars and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. It comes from the main character, of course played by Eastwood, who does not have a name, so he is called the Man with No Name.

Again, I’ll miss your series very much and I hope you’ll write another urban fantasy series soon because that is something I’ll buy without needing to check the price.

  783. It’s been a fun week, celebrating a great ride that you’ve given us. Looking forward to the next adventure!

  784. Amber

I have loved the entire series. Admittedly, I am behind right now…pesky college homework! But I still can’t wait to binge read and catch up when this book comes out. I’ll be sad to see the end of the series, though

  785. Tera Ashmore

I am so sad that it is coming to an end, but really excited to meet the new characters in the new series.

  786. Minerva

I have gotten more and better advice with regards to writting from your posts than any class, book or seminar. The Hollows have been so much fun, I hope it’s not good by forever. But just in case, so long & thanks for all the fish!

  787. Am really sad to see this series end. I’ve enjoyed it tremendously. I’m looking forward to whatever is next for us from you, Kim.

  788. Katie Burns

I love love love all of this. It’s killing me that this is the last

  789. Brianne Haas

Tell you something hmm…? Then I’ll tell you how much I love Rachel. She is one of my absolute favorite book characters ever. I will probably cry at the end of this book, cause I don’t want this story to end.

  790. Jessica

I believe that the title is inspired from the collection of westerns that Clint did.

  791. love the cover and can’t wait for the rest, as for the title, Clint Eastwood movies, the Spaghetti Westerns, he was the man with no name, i.e. the good, the bad and the ugly, for a few dollars more, fist full of dollars, pale rider, hang em high, high plains drifter…………..Can you tell I love those too.

  792. I think it’s time to revisit the entire series. I’m sad it is ending!

  793. Michelle Darbonne

I am so excited to read this!! But at the same time, I really don’t want to say goodbye to the hollows!! I am very excited to see what is next thou πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  794. Jennifer Zamboni

I’ve had the best time reading your books, and although I’m sad to see this series end, I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

  795. Wendy W

This is a really fun way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hollows! Thank you for doing this. Also, thank you for writing such a great series!

  796. Kelli LaFosse

Clint Eastwood’s character in the Westerns was ‘the man with no name’.
I like how this covers shows how much more confident Rachel has become from the first book/cover. Can’t wait for the big reveal.

  797. Nicole

I love this series. The witch with no name is going to be a bitter sweet read for me since it will be the end of our journey with Rachel.

  798. Courtney Durham

Im sad the hollows adventures are ending

  799. Joylyn

I have enjoyed the series so much! But part of me is a little bit glad that all of these horrible things will stop happening to Rachel and maybe she can have her version of a HEA πŸ™‚

  800. I am actually kinda concerned about the series ending! I love these characters and the world you have created for them. I am just hoping that I enjoy the next series just as much. *fingers crossed*

  801. I’m so glad I found your books and can’t wait to see what’s next.

  802. Claire

It’s the bridge in the park that the trolls live under, right? Rachel is always getting assigned to remove the trolls from under the bridge, and hates that the other people at the IS are always mean to the trolls. Rachel is nice to the trolls.

  803. Christy

It saddens me that this series is over, but I’m looking forward to your next series or whatever you’re working on. πŸ™‚

  804. Nancy H

Kim, it has been a wonderful ride! thank you so much for bringing Rachel and the gang to life for us, your fans. And thank you for being so personable, it has so great to hear your blog thoughts!

  805. PG Tarvin

So sad to see its the end of this series, but I will read and reread them all over and over again. πŸ™‚ I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next! Thank you!! πŸ™‚

  806. I am so excited for the final book, but I have to admit it breaks my heart to have to say goodbye. I have loved each and every one of your books. You story and character development is fantastic. I’m certain your next series will be amazing as well, but the Hollows has a special place in my heart! Thank you.

  807. Sirena Phillips

I’m right in the middle of Dead Pool. I so enjoy this series and sad to think it will ending. I love all the characters but must admit Al is one of my favorites. I’ve loved the twists and eagerly await each new book. I’m curious what will come next after this series.

  808. Sarah P.

I can’t wait to read this book, though I am sad about the series ending. 😦 Hopefully when you go on tour for this book I can meet you in Cinci! That would be so exciting! πŸ™‚

  809. Kristan Schmitt

I just want to say thank you to Kim for creating such a wonderful world with characters that are so alive that I laugh with them, cry with them, hurt for them and rejoice with them.

  810. Kristy Conlon

I was so sad that I wasn’t able to go to Atlanta to meet you on the last tour. I hope you’re able to fit in a stop in Nashville…….or anywhere in Tennessee:-) Love love love The Hollows series!

  811. Michelle Rm

Since I read the title I’ve got that song, Horse with No Name by America stuck in my head.

  812. Zabrina

It’s so bitter sweet! I’m excited we don’t have to wait a year for the next book but saddened it’s the last of the series. I’m excited at the prospect of another tour I just hop it hits the west coast!

  813. Christine Armstrong

I’m sad to the series ending but I understand when a writer feels it’s time. I feel like I have grown older with Rachel and friends ( thou I’m much older). I have enjoyed the ups and downs but still miss Kisten. Now Anxious to see what where the road leads for Trent.

  814. Danielle Smith

Thank you Kim. Just, thank you πŸ™‚ (((HUG)))

  815. Shawna

I am truley going to miss this series when its over. But I understand the need to move on. Look forward to reading more awesome stories from you.

  816. Melanie Keary

I have loved reading this series! Thank you so much for the reading enjoyment and hours well spent πŸ™‚

  817. Eric Weisenberger

Thanks for a great series. I have been reading them since book 1 and they have been my partners during the ups and downs in life. Thanks for the memories!

  818. Diana Spurlock

I love that you share more than just book info. I find I really like Banks because of your post. So thanks

  819. Here’s hoping the next book series is as great as this one! I enjoyed meeting you in Burbank at Del’s shop!

  820. Zochi

    Loving the gold.

  821. Random comment is random. In all seriousness, thank you for the stories. I will be sad to let these characters to go. Looking forward to seeing what their last adventure(s) will be.

  822. Sad the Hollows series is ending. I may miss Al most of all. 😦

  823. Kelly S

I picked up Undead Pool from the library last night… its my last book to read before THIS LAST BOOK comes out and I’m dying.

Also, secretly, I always hoped Rachel and Trent would get together. Obv. I don’t know yet if that happens in Undead Pool (I don’t read spoilers!), but I’m just saying… the potential was always there!

  824. Linda Craft.

I am just wondering since this book is coming out in Sept. do we get Perri in February? I thought we wouldn’t get Perri until 2016 hope we get her in 2015. Yea

  825. Jessica Mobbs

Oh wow! The cover so far is really great! I knew it would have something to do with her magic, but what that final piece is, I’m still unsure! Can’t wait until Monday to see!! This is so bittersweet, the end of an amazing series. Thank you for all the wonderful Hollows books!

  826. Mechelle Scheetz

Im sad the series is ending but so excited to read it. I hope Al has a big part in the endin

  827. Phoenix Rising

Given the hint about slightly mirroring the first book, I’m guessing mystical chains around someone or something (“slightly mirroring” Rachel’s handcuffs on the first book, which are absent so far). However, given the amount of people and things that Rachel could find good cause for putting in chains, it could be anything from Trent, Al, Ivy, etc. to a rogue tomato. The unrevealed piece is so small or I’d go with Trent.

  828. Janel Kisner

It’s from “The man with no name”. I can’t believe this is the last book in the series. When I first started reading the series, I was bedridden due to an injury and they certainly helped me stay sane. Release Day for a Rachel Morgan book is always one of my favorite days, and the book always bypasses everything else on my loooooong TBR piles. I’d love to win something, although I never do; where could we find the tshirts to order? Thank you!

  829. Krystal

Clint Eastwood was the man with no name! I’m going to miss Rachel and Jenks and Ivy – and I still miss Kisten and Jenks wife – and I hope Rachel gets some kind of happy-ever-after

  830. Jaime

First, thank you for an awesome series and sharing the Hollows with us. I have enjoyed reading them over the years and will really miss them. Second, I still REALLY miss Kisten!!! I just had to get that out πŸ˜€ Lastly, I am looking forward to new adventures from you!

  831. Donna G.

Thank you for the Hollows. It’s a series I never tire of. I will continue to go back and read these books over and over ❀

  832. I didn’t even realize that the series was based off of Clint Eastwood movies that is really cool and now that it is brought to my attention it makes more sense! Wow! Lol!

  833. As an aspiring author, your work has been a huge inspiration for me. I hope one day my books will be ended a fraction of the awesome that yours are.

  834. Karen

Wasn’t The Man With No Name the character that Clint played in some of the old westerns? My dad is a huge fan (and in fact met one of my boyfriends at the door when I was a teenager looking like a pretty good immigration of him, poncho, gun holster and all).

  835. Angie Earley

I have wanted to meet you Ms. Kim when you have gone out on book tours…and since this last book is coming out in September (my birth month!) I have asked my mom if we can go to one of your book signings if you come to one of the 3 states near us…or anywhere in our state for my B-day present!

  836. Jordan

Thank you so much for such a fun, action packed series! ❀ Can't believe this is it!

  837. Lissa P

I’ll be so sad to see this series end…but can hardly wait to read this final book! Thank you!

  838. Rachelle Redendez

I’m so sad the series is ending!! I love so many of the characters I want to see where their lives go!

  839. Danielle Dodson

It sounds like it is referring to the fact that Rachel by society standards is more demon than witch.

  840. KathrynM

By far, my favorite series ever. Sad to see it end.

  841. Diana Hughes

I love cover! I’m guessing its Al in the corner. How exciting! The title comes from “The Man with No Name” which is character Clint Eastwood plays in the “Dollar” films.

  842. kim

Can’t wait for the new book, although I am sad at the thought that this is the last one!! Maybe I’ll get lucky this time (fingers crossed)?

So long, and thanks for all the stories (to badly paraphrase Douglas Adams)!!!

  843. terann

Clint Eastwood was “the man with no name” in the spaghetti western. How apropos.

  844. Pamela Newton

I’m really going to miss the series. The hollows has been my favorite.

  845. Thank you so much for this geat series !

  846. My thought as the cover has been revealed is that it has come full circle for Rachel. I love the similarity to the Dead Witch Walking cover. This last cover shows that Rachel has come fully into her power and acknowledges what she wants her life to be with those people that she loves. Kim Harrison, thank you for the wonderful series and what a hell of a ride this last ten years has been! I’ve loved every minute of it!!!

  847. Heidi Davis

Can’t wait for the last book but am also sad it’s the last book.

  848. Brittany B

When you toured with Ever After, it was a great night for my mom and I. It was the week of her birthday, and I treated her to dinner at her fav restaraunt in Seaatle. She said it was one of her favorite nights out in recent years. So I wanted to thank you for that. My mom and I definitely bonded over the Hallows series.

  849. Since the release date was unexpectedly moved to this year, I may miss the launch at Nicola’s since I will be visiting family in SC. However, I’m going to try to still make it.

  850. Beverly Tusing

I have loved this series ever since a friend suggested it. So many people to easily love and hate at times. Congrats on a wonderful series.

  851. I love the series and I’m sad to see it ending, but all good things must come to an end.

  852. Ashley Haselden

I absolutely love this series!! I am extremely sad it is come to an end 😦 However, I am hopeful that the ending is good. That as a reader we get to see Rachel and everyone happy πŸ™‚ I can’t wait for it to come out!!

  853. Brandie Declet

I totally get the reference! You’ve come full circle, so to speak: the first book was the movie title and the final book is what Clint’s character was called.

  854. Adora

I love the full-circle the covers have taken. Excellent cover art!

  855. Amber T.

Can’t wait to read the last book in this series, and I am looking forward to the new books you will write.

  856. amber

The cover colors echo the colors in Rachel’s aura.

  857. Vampyre

The title of this comes from Clint Eastwood’s “Man With No Name’ from the early spaghetti westerns. You told us once but I have to say I knew already. I watched all of those early movies.

The cover is looking amazing. Have a great week end.

  858. Jocelyn Barnette

Love your writing and can’t wait to see you at the RT convention!

  859. Angela

Hopefully you will be having a huge final tour that will give most a chance to see you and share their memories of a series well written.

  860. Tanya Gouchenour

I’m most of the way through the Undead Pool. Thanks for writing such fun books. πŸ™‚

  861. Amy Chagoya

I can’t wait for this book but at the same time I’m sad that the series is ending. Thanks for keeping me hooked!

  862. David Pew

Love the series, can’t wait for the next book. But a little sad that it’s the last.

  863. Can’t wait for the book release! I’m torn on being glad that I got to enjoy the ride, and will again many more times via rereads, or being sad that the initial ride is over.

  864. Nikki H.

Good luck with your new endeavors, I’m sure they will be just as creative as the one you are finishing. Brava, Kim, Brava!

  865. Julie L

I love this series and would really like to see Rachel and Trent finally together.

  866. Heather B.

When I started this series, even after the first book, I didn’t realize how attached I would become. You write these books in a way that makes me react on an emotional level to what’s happening in these characters lives. Thank you for sharing then with us.

  867. terann

Clint Eastwood was “the man with no name” in the spaghetti westerns. Very apropos.

  868. Jessica Edens

This series made the most challenging year of my life livable. πŸ˜€

  869. Adrienne

I just found your series a couple of years ago, and have devoured them since. So sad to see the series ending, but I look forward to the final book and your future works!

  870. Jen

This is a series that I have loved reading every book. Thank you for such a great series. Sad to see the series end, but excited to see how it ends. I am positive it will be awesome!

  871. Crystal Matlock

Absolutly love this series! Sad that its ending but will be re-reading them over and over again.

  872. Michele G

So sad to see Rachel’s story wrap up but hoping for a happy ending. Oh, and Clint is the man with no name in many of his westerns. Love the h homage. πŸ™‚

  873. chrisndanielle

I am sure this is a bittersweet time for you. It is also a very bittersweet time for me as a reader as well. I have enjoyed seeing how your characters grow and how the years have played out for them. I feel like I am living it right along with them. They are like family to me and I will miss new adventures with them but I am very happy that you have brought us to an ending and that you are going to continue on to new things. I will always have Rachel and the gang on the bookshelves and I will relive moments with them when I need to. Thank you!

  874. Stacey Simpson

I will miss Rach and the gang(:

  875. All I know is I’ve been having a blast with the reveal of the cover and can’t wait until that final little tidbit.

  876. Cheryl

I’m sad and curious to think about this series ending. I look forward to what’s next.

  877. Stephanie Wilson

I love that the very last book (sniffles) is not a Clint Eastwood movie persay but kind of an unofficial name for a trilogy of his movies The good, the bad, and the ugly, A fistful of dollars, and For a few dollars more.I’m not sure what it means for the book. I’m still thinking on it. Lol

    • Stephanie Wilson

Oh! And in all three of those movies Clint Eastwood never had an actual name. Hints the man with no name

  878. Vicki

Wasn’t Clint’s character in Fistful of Dollars and The Good, The Bad, The Ugly called the Man with No Name? Pretty cool twist….which makes you wonder if Rachel is being Clint-esque and will be cleaning up the Hollows and bringing justice.

  879. Krista R

Guessing she is holding on to a ley line or her aura.
Love this series and am sad it is coming to an end. Thanks for keeping us entertained for so long.

  880. Janice A.

I’ve enjoyed your series so much, I have it in every format, so I can get my Rachel fix anytime or anywhere. This is the only series that I’ve done with this. It’s been a long time since I’ve been so caught up in a series. I’m sad to see it end, but It’s a good time to end it. I’m anxiously waiting for your new series to begin.
I’m hoping Biz will be in the last part of the cover.

  881. stacey monks

I can’t believe this is the last book….

  882. Stacy P.

All I want to say is thanks for a wonderful series! I love these books! πŸ™‚

  883. College students introduced me to your books, and I am so grateful!

  884. Ami M.

    Love the cover!

  885. Kimberly Schwarz

I love all your books, especially The Hallow Series. I even saw and spoke with you at Comic Con in NY. I will miss this series very much!!!! Thank you for the whole Rachel experience it has been a blast. Xoxo

  886. renea gale

I ve been secretly hoping Rach would say screw trying to be good, hook up will Al and make cute, powerful little demon babies!

  887. Stacy M

I love the Hallows series. I am sad to see it end, but it has had a long run. I hope the next series you delv into (and I really hope you do another) will be just as great, and I will look forward to new releases in the future.

  888. Jessica Damian

I’m so sad that there will be no new books in the hallows series. But I know that I’ll reread all of them again. The stories you weave are amazing. I’m looking forward to what you next write.

  889. Frida

I still have to read The Undead Pool before I can read the first two chapters of The Witch With No Name!

  890. Courteney

Looking forward to the book. I have loved this series since I started with it. Thank you for keeping me entertained with your writing

  891. Nat Panasiewicz

I remember picking up my first Hollows book at a thrift store, totally by accident. A friggin’ amazing accident: It was The Good, The Bad, and the Undead, and of course after reading the first few pages I realised that this book wouldn’t be enough, so off I trekked to my local library, and got out all the books they had available at the time. The the depth, and humour in the characters, often illiciting loud guffaws on the bus and train, much to my mortification, or the emotional rollercoasters that we ride as we follow Rachel and co. (still feel my heart wrench when I think about Matalina) makes this series so emotionally and mentally involved, and it’s going to be odd to have it end. I look forward to this final book! Let’s see what kind of storm Rachel manages to cook up!

  892. Erin

So sad the series is ending, but having read your other works I am excited to so what new world you have created for us to devour. I would also love to see a knitting book from the patterns you have created.

  893. Nonie

I just wanted to tell how much I love all the things that you do for us readers. Not many authors have these kinds of giveaways. It just shows how important we are to you. Thanks for these last years, Hope to see more great books from you!

  894. The new title has something to do with Rachel’s summoning name. You’ve probably heard this plenty of times (until you are tired of it), but thanks for the years of Rachel, Ivy, Al, and the gang. It’s been absolutely crazy and wild, which is how it should have been. —> Currently, Amazon Top Reviewer #4,891 bookwormpov (at) gmail (dot) com

  895. Erica

Super excited for the last book because I’ll be on maternity leave towards the middle of September and I won’t have to stop reading to go to work!! Though I’ll have to figure out a way to juggle it around a baby I’m a mom, I can find a way!!

  896. Sara Newcomb

This has been one of my most favorite series to read since I started reading paranormal/fantasy books. This last book will hit me hard after I finish it, and I will sadly have to find new series to read. But the ride has been amazing πŸ˜€ I love the characters and can’t wait to see how their stories end. Thank you for such an awesome 10 years of Rachel, Jenks, Ivy, Trent, Al, and everyone else. It’s been a pleasure.

And the title– “The Witch With No Name”, comes from The Dollars Trilogy. Clint Eastwood’s character was “The Man With No Name” πŸ™‚ Clint Eastwood was such a hunk….

  897. I’ll be sad to see the series end, but I’m looking forward to a “happy ending” , or at least a peaceful resolution. It ends happy, right???????? πŸ˜‰

  898. CK Ackarie

I know all good things must end but I am very sad that this world is ending for me. I am going to miss my friends! But I am excited to see what you come up with next.

  899. Beth

Thank you, Kim. I’m really gonna miss Rachel and the gang. They’ve been a big part of my life and MUST READ for a lot of years. I can’t wait to see if EVERYONE gets their happy ever after…

  900. BjΓΈrk Tyge

I just can’t belive it’s the last book! i wish there would be more..

  901. So ndra D

Thank you so much for a great ride!

  902. Rene Swanberg

I’ve been rereading all the books, some of which I have on me e reader. Haunting the used book stores and probably driving the people there batty with my incessant questions and calls. I can’t believe this is the last book! In a way I can’t wait for it, I’m hungry to learn what finally happens, and then again, I’m sad for is arrival, because I don’t want it to end. Thank you for sharing this world with us… β™‘β™‘β™‘β™‘β™‘

  903. Debbie Coglio

Thanks for the many years in the “hollow”. You are the only author I’ve read who can write about Demons and put the picture of “Mork” sitting on the floor wearing rainbow suspenders in my head!

  904. Kat

Thank you for such a wild ride with this series, it’s definitely one of my all time favorites. Sad to see it end but also looking forward to what else you have in store for us!

It’s my birthday! Lol and although it’s not an actual gift, I’m stoked that the readers came through and we get the first 2 chapters on Monday! That makes my whole day! πŸ™‚

  905. I’m sorry to see the series end but I will be watching to see what comes next. Even if it is totally different I am sure it will be fabulous. I was a fan of Dawn Cook from the beginning of the Truth series.

  906. Elizabeth

So sad to see the ending…as someone once said, all good things must come to an end…But I don’t want it to!

  907. Hing

Bittersweet – sad to see this series end but can’t wait for the last book to arrive!!

  908. Vicki Arce-Guillen

I have enjoyed reading and watching all of the characters grow. I am curious about your elusive Peri. Happily waiting for the next adventure.

  909. Latisha Bramlett

I’m sad the series is ending, but I can’t wait to see what else you come up with!

  910. Liz

Love the Hollows.. Bunny bunny kiss kiss ❀

  911. Danielle

I am so excited for this new book to come out. As for the cover, there is a lot of gold, which is Trent’s aura color, so maybe???? Lol. Can’t wait for the full reveal!

  912. Victoria Kelp

I absolutely love this series. I can’t wait for the last book, but also hate to see it end.

I’m going to be honest, I’m not looking forward to the end of this series. I might even cry. However, if written well (this is not a challenge lol), then an ending can be just as gratifying as a beginning!! I have enjoyed the ride and look forward to the finale!!

  914. I just wanted to say that you are one of the writers who inspires me to work harder on my own. You have shown what great world-building and characters look like. Thank you.

After reading your books I passed them on to my sister. The first time she read the line “Tink’s a Disney whore” she called me up and said “see I knew it was true.” I’m a big Tinkerbell fan and my sister was always telling me she was a whore. Thank you for confirming it πŸ˜„

I am so sad to see the Hollows series end, but I am also excited to see what you will bring us next! I unfortunately don’t have a US address but thought I would still add a comment! Keep up the good work – I love reading it! πŸ˜€

This series is the only one i collect. I own all the books thus far and am really sad to see it ending. But i rather see you end it and move on then keep pushing it into the absurd like some other authors. Thank You

  919. Tommi

Perfect timing of the release, t right before my birthday! While sad to see the end, looking forward to a new adventure

  920. Kathleen Langlo

I became a fan of your work after a friend suggested your books. I’ve been hooked ever since. I am so excited for this next book, but also sad to see all the characters I’ve grown to love leave. I truly hope that Rachel, Ivy, and Jenks get their happy endings. That deserve it and then some.

  921. Brenda Nelson

I’m sad the series is ending, you are taking them out with style! Thank you for sharing your world!

  922. Well obviously the title comes from “the Man with No Name” trilogy, although that might be a misnomer since in “For a Few Dollars More”, he is called “Manco” and in “A Fistful of Dollars” Eastwood is credited as “Joe”.

  923. Jessica Robison

This is my favorite series of all time and soooo sad to see it end. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us in the future!!!

  924. Natalie Conner

This title is hard for me to figure out in the Eastwood films. When I first saw it I tried to find the movie that is related, but he only thing I found was The Witches and I am very doubtful that is correct. I will keep looking and hopefully know the answer before you reveal it. πŸ™‚

If i could have a sidekick, I would want a smart mouthed pixie like Jenks. I need someone who is great with sarcasm like me, but also that has talents that I dont. Im going to miss his catch phrases soooo much! So sad this is the last book, but all good things must come to an end, after all, you did say that its happily ever after for all who survives!

  926. Bev W

Thanks for the last 10 years! For the love of Tink, it’s been great! Wish it weren’t ending.

  927. Nancy Laylon

This one is a good film too. I just made the connection with the Clint Eastwood films. Lol I cant wait for this book to come out but then again I dont want it to come out because I dont want it to be the end. Thank you for all of the great reads that you have provided and I cant wait to see what you come up with next.

My perfect date? I’d have to say April 25th, because it’s not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket.

I have loved this series ever since I found it on amazon in paperback probably 8 years ago. Since then of course I have gotten a Kindle so I can carry the series with me which is especially great for when I get the newest book and can’t put it down! Sad this is the end but can’t wait for the next. πŸ™‚

  930. Amy Crothers

The Clint Eastwood theme is one of the first things that drew me to your wonderful series. I knew it would have a tongue in cheek- iness to it. Love your sense of humor!

  931. Crystal Dinwiddie

Love the series! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.

Although I will dearly miss Al and Rachel’s bonding moments I am looking forward to a spin off series. This is one of the few books that I have followed from the very beginning and never tire of rereading. I always find new things and new insights. Thanks Kim, for a wonderful ride
