Happy Thanksgiving and Chanukah!

Did ja know it was the same day this year? And that it won’t happen again until 79811, unless the Jewish calendar is tweaked to take into account the slight incongruity between it the solar calendar, in which case it could happen again in a mere 133 years. (Leap year, anyone? That’s why the Gregorian calendar does it.) I’m betting they do. The chance to have one day where an entire continent and an entire faith both take a day to recognize blessings is pretty powerful stuff.

I’ll be taking tomorrow off, but I’ll be back Friday with something kind of neat for you Black Friday shoppers. I’ll also have the next couple of tour stops. East Coast, I’m looking at you!

Other countries and cultures have different times to remember things to be thankful about, but I feel that it’s something that enhances our humanity. That profundity aside, I’d like to mention that Kim, Guy, and this group are among people I give thanks for. Blessed be, ye all.

I am also thankful for Kim, Guy, the Hollows, and all the thoughtful, delightful people here. Haven’t seen the other kind for a long time, for which I am also thankful. Blessed be. ā¤

Hi Ms. Kim I’m going to my sister’s house in North Olmstead to have Thanksgiving in a civilized manner. I’ll remind everyone here there will be NO drunken dancing on the tables. And don’t forget Frog Croaked For Your Sins!
All that said I wish you and your family the happiest Thanksgiving possible

Thanks This year I’m doing theme avatars for holidays. I’ll be putting up my Christmas one in a couple of weeks.

  14. I hate to be THAT person, but Canada celebrates their Thanksgiving on a different date and I don’t know if Mexico has an equivalent holiday or not. So it’s not an entire continent, just country. With that said, I still very much appreciate the sentiment you expressed. šŸ™‚

Now that I’ve picked my nit, I hope your family has a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m looking forward to getting together with mine and being with some relatives I only see once or twice a year.
