I love all of your Hollows books. I am an avid fan. We Texans understand that we are a huge state and I live in a small town in East Texas and of course it thrives because of the university here. I am just wondering will you brave the Mississippi and come this way one day? I’ve followed Rachel from the very beginning and I’m looking forward to your next book. I wish you continued success because your books is where I escape to when I want to get away from stress of daily life.

    • Thank you, Camilla. I’m so glad you are enjoying the books so much. I don’t know where I’m going from year to year. It’s a publisher decision, and they usually send me to stores that have a good track record of having events.

I hope you like what’s coming in the Hollows!

  4. Howdy ma’am,

Thanks for the preview but you know I wont look. 🙂

Last night was a bad one for me. I was trying to get to sleep and Fuzzy was sitting next to my head licking herself. The raspy sound was bothering me so I had to ‘ask’ her to leave.

Finally I get to sleep and I hear the raspy licking noise again so I rolled over to ‘ask’ her to leave again but she wasn’t there. Odd.

I put my hand over my left ear to see if I could still hear the sound. I felt something sticking out of my ear. It was kinda crunchy feeling and I thought it was a piece of paper. then it moved!

This is where I start freaking out. I tried to get ahold of what ever it was but it kept squirming around. Then it started biting me. Now I’m really freaking out.

I’m slowly getting pieces of it but it’s putting up a fight and it’s really starting to hurt. Just about when I thought I couldn’t take it anymore, I woke up.

Yep, Fuzzy’s raspy licking made me have a nasty dream . I think she will be sleeping outside for a while.

Okay, a few love notes: I’ve met your Guy, Kim, and he radiates love, especially toward you. And you radiate it especially toward him. How wonderful that is!

I’m avoiding the sneak peek chapters because it makes waiting for the whole book that much harder.

Jim-from-Warren, our Oliver has to have his own chair, too. But sometimes he lets me sit in it.

I can’t bring myself to read any of the chapters this time around. I regretted it last year when I read them all, then forced myself to read them again when the novel was finally in my hands. Can’t very well just skip past several chapters in a new book! Even if they’ve been read already! It was maddening to not skip ahead.

Anyway…I saw this article last night and thought of you, or rather, Guy: http://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2012/01/americas-coolest-coffeehouses/250517/#slide9

There is one in the town you live in (yes?), and it seems like one for nearly every big city. And small cities, too, like my current residence. Anyway, thought it might be cool to try and match up some of your tour cities to cool coffee shops. 🙂

    • Oh yeah. Shortly after moving, a new place opened up downtown that has outstanding coffee. It’s not a chain and seriously has the best coffee according to Guy. I usually get hot chocolate ’cause the chi tea is not quite there.

uh, sorry for spoiler below and sloppy English…

    Thank you 🙂
I waited all this evening for chapter four.
I so smiled when I read how Rachel twisted the blackmail. Ugh, I hate this when people try to blackmail me into something – I react like a cat when you stroke him the opposite way.
Greetings from warm Poland – winter is light like never ;). Christmas was green.

    • Thanks, Diuna! I’m so glad you liked it!

We had a green Christmas, too. We can’t seem to keep any snow on the ground longer than a few days. Some years it’s like that.
