    Hey Miss Kim,

I just picked up my copy of Blood Work, sat down in front of the bookstore and read the whole thing already!🙂 Now I can’t wait until the next one comes out. Nothing like torturing myself, I suppose….🙂

I hope you had a great time at Comic-Con, and thank you for all you do!

  4. Welcome back and I hope you made some time to visit the city and not just the convention center. Sounds like you had a blast. Comic-Con is like nothing else. Any plans of going to the Detroit Fan Fare downtown at Cobo this year?

    • Hi Joe. We had a great time, and yes, we did get out for a few restaurants and the zoo. I’m done with out-of-the-office PR until Feb, and it feels sooooo good! But I’ll keep in in mind for next year.

  5. Looking forward to the new novella. Neat interview. Wish it were a wee bit longer though because we like it when you egg us on (LOL).😉

Hi Ms Kim, It’s Jim from Warren again. I keep forgetting to say that Thing 2 is a good looking kid,but he looks Hungry! Bet you can’t wait untill he finds a nice girlfriend who likes to cook.My youngest sister was so happy when she could dump her youngest thing off on a girlfriend who loved cooking(He was eating them out of house and home) And make them pay for their own groceries(GF got a job while he finished school), she didn’t even say a word when they didn’t get married for four years.(Probably spent the wedding funds on groceries the way that boy ate)

Really good interview. How exciting that you are already working on the next graphic novel. Your publishers had no doubt that this one would be a hit. Number one on the NYT list!!!

    • Thanks Marsha. I started it right away because the pencilist at the time was slow, and I wanted to get him before he moved on to another project. I’m still excited about the placement. It feels good.

Great interview Kim! It looks like you had a ball at ComicCon; that’s a big grin on your face🙂
Did Guy have a good time too?

  9. Victoria Eskey

    love the interview!!🙂

Hi Ms Kim, It’s Jim from Warren. I am so glad for you, got to go to ComiCon, AND made the no 1 slot on the NYT best seller list (Which is where you belong in my humble opinion). Now I’m gonna get greedy and say “Ms Kim in your next best-selling graphic novel, can we see the scene where rachel ties Ivy to her office chair and writes loser on her fingernails?” Hey you don’t ask, you don’t get.

  11. Cool, Transformers would have been my boyfriends favorite too😉 Nice interview Kim. I’m excited for all your upcoming books.

Question though, was that the interview your fans submitted questions to? If so, he didn’t ask mine😦

Have a safe trip home. You’ve been quite busy, so I hope you have a relaxing weekend ahead of you.

    • He didn’t? I’m sorry, he must have wanted to take it in a different direction.

I’m looking forward to the weekend, yes. My mom needs a new planter box . . . Yay!

  12. Heya Kim,
I climbed out of the film Tardis in London Film Museum🙂
Just a quick question before the book comes out: hope you got the contracts and did you name the magazine “Witch Weekly” on purpose? Since that’s a magazine from Harry Potter (the one that honored Gilderoy Lockhart’s smile^^). Dunno if there are copyright issues or sth.
    Have a save trip home!

    • Oh, wow, how cool would that be, Amy!

Ahhhh, I’ve been talking about Witch Weekly since the first couple of books, I think. I’m too lazy to do the math to figure out who used it first, but in any case, great minds think alike, and it’s no big stretch to invent “witch weekly” There are no copyright issues here.

  13. Kim! You’re on your way back! Yay!
