Halloween Pictures are up!

Yes, you read that right.  Halloween pictures!  The cutoff for entering the contest to win a copy of the HOLLOWS INSIDER and a frame-worthy, signed page from BLOOD WORK is over, and I’ve got the contenders up at the website.  🙂

If you missed out, I’ve got another contest going this week.  See here

Thank you everyone who submitted pictures!  It was great seeing them come in.

  2. Hiya Kim!!!
Sorry for my recent absence from your blog, I’ve been reading but not commenting, have been… sick, and not too chatty. I am thrilled your hummers are back! That’s the best feeling, they’re such amazing little critters. There was one of the halloween photos that really caught my attention – the one where they’re on a deck? perhaps? eating by candles with a bottle of bubbly… reminds me of the solstice where Takata was there, with Ivy, Rache and the gang, I instantly thought of that. I realize *that* wasn’t halloween… but nonetheless. The photo was pretty gripping. I’m hoping to get out of the house and get to take a coffee shop photo, you know me and my lattes!!!! 😉 Also, I am a goodreads.com fanatic- I live by that website – and I entered a contest to win an advance copy of MA#3, and received notification from goodreads that I am a first reads winner. I am SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s such a good year for books. 🙂 Thank you for your contribution to my mental escapes…. they’re lifesavers!!

  3. Great pictures, Kim! These are very different from what I was expecting, but I like them a lot. 🙂 I will say the picture of the parade was much more Cinco de Mayo than Halloween. 😉

One of the links on the picture page appears to be broken. Two of them go to the same picture, so I can’t see a closeup of the one on the bottom left (I hope that makes sense).

Thanks for the warm wishes about school. Trust me, when I was in high school, I was much more as you described… I couldn’t be bothered. I tested really high, but refused to do any homework that took longer than an hour to complete. That’s still an issue for me today, but I’m old enough to try and wrangle it in anyway.

I’m easily distracted and hard to motivate, and those are the two reasons I haven’t set down to do more writing. Once I’m permanently done with school though… I *will* get something written. It consumes too much of my thoughts not to.

I have a couple different ones I really like this time! The two women having a picnic is great, the bobbing for tomatoes & of course the one with the man walking the children!
