What is this white stuff on the ground?

Can it be snow?  It seems to be following me as I shift from Dayton today down the road to CINCINNATI!

I will be in my favorite adoptive city tonight at Joseph Beth on Madison Road.  We are also going to live-stream the event for those of you who can’t make it, and I think take a few questions from the virtual audience.  Hope to see some of you there, either braving the last that winter is throwing at us, or from the cozy chair of your living room via the live feed.  http://www.vivolive.com/harpercollins/kimharrison The show starts at 7:00 pm, EST, and there is a button at the site to order a signed copy which I will do that very night.  Not sure what time 7:00 pm EST is where you are?  I’ve got a link for that, too.  TimeZoneConverter

Last night I was at one of my favorite stores, Books and Co on the Green.  It was a HUGE crowd, and we had tons of fun.  Pictures and YouTubes are up at the website!  Books And Co.

I also have part one of a two-part interview that just popped up over at AssignmentX where I chat a bit about Pale Demon.  (No spoilers)

Thanks for all your advice and knowledge. Still writing that first novel. Wish I had you for a while just to pick your brain. Bet you hear that a lot though. I am sure there are many aspiring authors out there. Many never published. How many tries did it take you?

    • It was great to talk with you, Clif. I hope you keep writing. I have no idea how many submissions I made, but it took me about 6-8 years from when I first started writing until I got my first book on the shelf.

Boo-Hoo I missed you in Dayton. Please come back through Ohio for your next book signing. I do not know how you will top Pale Demon. My FAVORITE, thus far!!!! I read it in a day and a half. Time for a re-read of all your Rachel books, that way I can read Pale Demon again. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

    Be safe on your tour!!!

    • Hi Jennifer. I don’t see any reason why I won’t be coming back to the Cincy/Dayton area next year. The people here are fantastic! I’m so glad you enjoyed the book! Thanks.

Miss Kim, I want to ask you so many questions, but I daren’t due to the possibility of spoiling it for someone else. I’m in such a pickle.
What to do? What to do???

But anyhoo- in the meantime, I hope you’re enjoying your tour and can maybe squeeze in that spa day you so rightly deserve. Have a wonderful day! 🙂

Thank you for writing and sharing your talent with us. I look forward to your new book every year. Pale Demon, I inhaled and enjoyed every bit of it. I did wonder though, when you wrote PD was someone around you preggers? Also, I kept thinking of the quote “Every new beginning is some other beginning’s end”.

Oh oh . . . Kim’s dream about taking care of the babies!!!

    • Hi Shawn. Thank you! I’m so glad that you’re enjoying the series. No one was preggers when I was writing PD, but being a mom myself, it’s never far from my mind. And yes, that’s probably why I was dreaming of taking care of happy babies.

It would seem Ohio would like to keep you here Kim!

Unfortunately I was unable to make Dayton last night, would you believe no one wants to babysit a gorgeous newborn baby? And of course today my county is under a snow emergency which prevents me from making the haul to Cincy. So I’ll be tuning into the live feed instead.

This book has been the absolute best so far! The evolution of the characters, the plot twists, the story, all beyond compare. Its a testament to your writing that rather than sleeping when the baby sleeps, I was reading. Squeezing in about five chapters between each feeding before duty (or doodie) called me away again. Ah but well worth it! Now it’s time to go back and reread, a little more slowly this time and pick up on those things I might have missed!

  8. I loved the book so much, that I purchased an extra copy to give away.
No one should be without a copy of it.

***SQEEE*** I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!!! So much new information! So many new questions! Only 361 more days . . . 🙂

  12. I was thinking of you and Guy while I watched Jim Cantore of the Weather Channel report on severe weather across the mid-section of the county last night. I hope you miss the dangerous stuff.

Looks like you’re having fun with your peeps. Best of luck for the rest of your tour.
