Aargh! Hit “post” too soon. Anyway, this is another song by Apocalyptica – I Don’t Care – that also reminds me of early days Trent, back when Rachel first walzted back into his life and started to turn it all on its ear.

Diva you are my type of reader. Apocalyptica is my favorite. Hall of the Mountain King is right up there. Watch the video of them playing it. It leaves you feeling like you have just been on a run with Rachel or after she just had a run in with a demon. Pure Adrenaline.

“Superdeformed” by Matthew Sweet. On the outside Trent seems suave, sophisticated, and well, perfect. Once you can see beneath the cool veneer, he is “twisted and turned”, like in the song. Again dark and edgy, goes with the atmosphere of the Hallows.
I think ‘Unintended’ by Muse is a great tune for Trent/Rache…especially after reading APB and watching them grow closer to…. hmmm!

At the end of pale demon, after everything he had done to change/impress her, and after gaining her trust and finding himself, Rachel still doesn’t seem to be interested in him (so he thinks).
I think this song might express some of his frustration/dying hope/willingness to change for her.

Pain– reminds me of Trent trying to get someone to love him, trying to get Rachel’s trust, and “always there for her” incase she ever decides to work with him. And especially, of Pale Demon and Trent’s plan to save Rachel.
