I asked, and you spoke. The turtle in my pond will be named Shelly or Sheldon. As soon as I can catch the critter again to get a close look at the nails, I’ll let you know which one. -laugh-

S&S should be it’s name until you learn if it’s a she or a he. Both are very nice names.
Just saw a thing on Animal Planet (I think it was) that said sex can be determined by nails, *shape of under-shell*, and size of tail. Three good hints…
hmnnn…..did you ever say what the street name was that Guy found him on?Just wondering…..First or Maple or…..?
Hi Ms> Kim I like the name. Just don’t forget that reptiles and birds can spread salmonella, in revenge! After all, there are more than 100 points of similarity between T.Rex and a chicken! However reptiles are not descended from theropod Dinosaurs, the smaller species of which had feathers(highly developed scales) and three chamber hearts and air sacs like modern birds to keep warm and move fast. Therefore I’m not sure what they are revenging. And in other news, LiveScience has a good article on why dogs are suck-ups and cats are handsome, independent, Proud, lonesome killers,You know”the few,the proud, the Felines” That’s was stolen by humans according to Smudge. However, Live science points out that cats are tame, not domesticated , unlike dogs, which are, having lived with humans so long, That’s why cats can walk out the front door and be perfectly at home
Feral cats live about 3–4 years; cats who live with people can live for 15 years or more. I don’t think cats who walk out the door are perfectly at home unless they can come back in — preferably with their own kitty door (saves getting out of bed numerous times in the night).
happy Monday everyone hope you all have a good day. mrs.harrison good luck catching him/her and i like the name .very fitting for a turtle .
